This Barbie is beautiful and my granddaughter is going to be so excited when she opens it

This Barbie is a piece of garbage. The first few hours our daughter had it, the left arm fell off. Then, we checked the back of the doll to see what batteries it needed…there were already batteries inside, but they were corroded. Then a when my daughter turned her head, the neck plastic snapped. It’s now in the garbage 2 days after Christmas. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Batteries were included but were corroded. Either the doll been subjected to moisture in storage before it was bought or the batteries inserted were old.

When her mirror was raised, Ken did not appear, and the Barbie doll did not chime. We opened the battery compartment to find corroded batteries that also compromised the terminals. Once a four-year-old falls in love with a Barbie it is difficult to take it back for return, so we cleaned the compartment and went on a hunt for the proper batteries. So far, no luck, but she loves the doll. The product is good, the environment where it was stored or the amount of time it was stored is suspect.

Gorgeous Barbie. This one is so beautiful that I'm keeping her in my china cabinet until my Granddaughter is old enough to give her the respect she deserves. ;-)
