Don't waste your time buying any other product. This c-section recovery kit was like a miracle! What person is up and walking 2-3 hrs after their c-section? ME! ...of course with the assistance of Abdomend! I purchased this because my husband was gone in the Army and we were having our 2nd baby in the hospital by csection. I needed an alternative helping method other than to just not hold or pickup my 2 yr old when she needed me. Thankfully 25 lbs. was the weight limit the hospital gave me and my daughter fell right within those limits, maxing them out at 24 lbs. for her body weight. Not only did this belt give me the ability to be up and walking to start my recovery process earlier than ever before, but it also aided me at home when getting up and down from a sitting or laying down position. I was able to leave the hospital 48 hrs exactly after having my csection. As most people know, your guaranteed a total of a 3 night, 4 day hospital stay after having a csection. I was amazed to see how well I was doing with my recovery all because of this belt. How amazing this was. I will definitly recommend it to anyone else. And NO need to buy another belt if we chose to have another child. This belt held up really well! I never delt with issues of it 'ruching' up my sides because the front has 2 adjustable straps which seemm to prevent this issue... unlike all other belts. Plus, the support is amazing! I was totally pulled up and inward which is what's needed to help keep yourself 'together'. Even though the deluxe kit that I purchased came with 3 belts, I only needed to use one. And at that, I only needed it for at the most, about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks time. And like anyone, our bodies dont go directly back to pre-pregnancy shape, and pregnancy clothes are used still right after the baby is born... with that in mind, this belt seemed to apear very well hidden under my clothing. I was very very very pleased with it. It was well worth the $100 I pd for it!

I purchased this after having my 5th baby (first c-section). Unfortunately, I feel like I wasted my money. They gave me a band in the hospital that I didn't have to pay for, and it basically did the same job as this. I was hoping when I got home and this was in the mail box that it would be so super soft and lovely. It really was the same thing I got for free in the hospital. It wasn't as soft as I had hoped and it was annoying under my clothes. Also, beware in sizing. I sized according to the website instructions, and about one week after having my baby the band was WAAAAY too huge for me. I had to cinch it so much that it felt pretty uncomfortable because of the extra bulky material.I used a different "belly band" after baby number 4 and that pulled in my gut for a lot lower price.I rated it 3 stars because it does keep you held in and the company seems nice enough.I couldn't give it 5, because this seemed a waste of my money...and the video and brush were a waste too. There was no way I was ever going to have the time to lay in bed and brush my legs and tummy. But you know, maybe if you have one or two kids you'd feel differently about that. I don't know.

I was on the look for something to help with the bump that's left after delivery. It is a bit pricy, however, I really didn't find anything out there for c-sections. A friend had advised that she had heard of the AbdoMend and heard it was worth trying. I must say that it is great! Not only does it help buffer the c-section area, for me, it helped reduce the swelling and got my stomach flat within 6 weeks. I made sure I had the AbdoMend on the 2nd day after my c-section and had it on for majority of the day for 6 weeks straight. My only complaint is that is stays stretched out (no matter how much you wash and try to shrink it in the dryer) and once you start slimming down, the support belt gets to be a bit too large and the velcro straps do not meet. Really did not want to purchase another belly band, but I may have to 2nd time around. It is true to size.

I had my csection with general anesthesia and woke up with incredible pain :( I was able to get a nurse to put this on me 3rd day post-op. I don't think I would have been able to sit up without it and I did not prior to its use. The size was perfect for me. I wear a size 14 pre-pregnancy and I ordered a large and it was nice and secure. The biggest benefit to this complete set is that after my stomach went down a little I was able to switch to the Hem it in belt after three weeks and my stomach was almost flat by the 6th week! I highly recommend this to everyone anticipating a csection. The pain was tremendous and this system made it bearable. Make sure to lay down when putting it on though so its nice and snug. I believe there is a video about this online.

I ordered this in preparation for the c-section of my second son. I had worn a binder given to me by my OB after my first son was born and, after reading the reviews, decided to try something new. I brought it to the hospital with me and put it on the day after my surgery. The material is SO soft, however the size I ordered was definitely too big for me. I could've gone down a size. It helped put much needed pressure on my incision area and I was up and walking around in no time. As far as the rest of the kit goes, I didn't even bother using the scar brush.

The only thing i didnt like is that i had to reinforce the velcro by sewing it and that the material loosened up a lot so i had to wash and dry to shrink it. It really helped with supporting the c section area and my tummy. I wish i would have had this for my first c section. Worth the buy

I both this in a medium and it was too big for me... I had to exchange it for a small and then it was great! The relaxation cd it's great and I played it nights before a gave birth.. Love it

The hospital binder was much more supportive than the binder in the kit. The only peice that I used was the mid binder. That was the only useful piece to the kit. Two stars because the mid binder can be reversed to the other side for a smaller fit when needed.
