fits perfect into the vent opening. vent louvres are easy to move into difference levels. Beautiful painted finish, can be painted also. Comparable price between other brands.

I had a hard time finding a 24x6" register as most are under 16". I bought this as the only on I could find. It fits and serves the purpose but I am deducting a star for 2 reasons: - It is much more flimsy than other smaller ones I have bought. However, it is not a dealbreaker as it does what it needs to. - The unit is white but the adjustable fins are silver. Say what? Why? - the vertical fixed fines are straight when most single vents have slightly curved fin.

Excellent product. And $8 cheaper than HD and Lowe’s.

Flimsy and not well made

the good: + great value + perfectly packaged, arrived undamaged + aluminum, does not rust areas for improvement: - the attachment area of the riveted lever to open / close came bent, which causes you to not open to 100%. The lovers remain slightly angled - the movement mechanism is unprecise, and the vent does not close 100% - the black crimping of the aluminum part is visible when looking into the grill - the two screws are not "biting" well into drywall, and need anchors which are not included I still gave five stars because all flaws are minor and not an issue for my application - replacing a rusty steel bathroom vent cover.

Very happy with this aluminum air supply register. The construction feels solid and much better made than the typical lightweight vents you find at big-box stores. The finish looks clean and professional, and it gives the room a much nicer appearance. The adjustable blades move smoothly and make it easy to direct the airflow where I want it. Installation was straightforward, and the 16" x 8" size fit the duct opening perfectly. If you're replacing an old or cheap-looking HVAC register and want something that looks good, feels durable, and functions properly, this is a great choice. I would definitely buy it again. 5 stars — highly recommended!
