Lays flat and easy to clean
I purchased this to protect a carpet runner as we gave a tortoise who canβt stay outside at night until temperatures are higher.

Ruggedly made but had some problems
This is ruggedly made and quality of material is as good as I expected. However, I was using it as a carpet protector and unfortunately it wouldn't stay in position - it would creep sideways across the floor. Even taping it down wouldn't hold it. Now this might have been due to way the pile on my carpet was laid - on a different type of carpet it may well be great, but in my own case it turned out to be troublesome. If I can think of some better way to secure it it might be ok.This is why I have only been able to give it 3 stars, not because of any manufacturing quality issues.

Carpet Protector
This is to protect our carpet and floor whilst jobs are being done in and around the house and for walking through the house. Heavy Duty? Well not really but being thinner allows it to lay flat sooner. It grips fine on carpet but beware on laminate flooring etc. It does smell a bit, its plastic and plastics do smell. Leave it rolled up outside for a day or two and no problem. I ordered 3 rolls at 15 feet per roll, we were sent one roll of 45 feet long. Brilliant, no taping rolls together. Four stars because it is not really heavy duty. recommend for short term use only.

Great for protecting carpets in rental houses
Used this to protect the carpet where my dog usually does her business. I rolled it out and stuck it to the skirting boards with clear tape, then put a piece of carpet on top. Looks good and it means I won't have any money removed from my deposit when I move out.I had hoped to use this in the main room as well but didn't have enough unfortunately. Probably only enough for a small room/hallway.

You get what you pay for
Is ok, but a bit flimsy & didn't lie flat

Good for artists having to work at home
I use this 15-foot strip of plastic to protect the cream carpet from paint spills in our rather cramped, rented flat. It runs from my makeshift art space at the end of the dining room table to the kitchen sink, where I clean my brushes. I'm really delighted with the thickness and durability. I suppose it's possible to trip on it, but that's not a deal breaker for my purposes because I roll it back up every day when I am finished with it. I am, however, mindful while I'm walking on it. Just wish it came in smaller sizes as well.

its realy good however the draw back is it keeps sliding every ...
bought this runner to put ontop of my new hall carpet to keep it cleaner for longer, its realy good however the draw back is it keeps sliding every time someone walks on it so its an never ending battle to adjust the mat, its a realy good product if only there was something that I could secure it with.
