VERY CHEEP AND FLIMSY PLASTIC, DOES NOT GRIP TO CARPET BENEATH IT, WILL NOT LIE FLAT AND CONSTANTLY TRIPPING OVER AND RE ADJUSTING IT. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Sturdy and simple, this is a great value-for-money hall runner. I have this on a laminate floor to store two bikes in the house without tracking mud everywhere. It rides up quite easily, but this was solved when I cut the runner properly to size against the wall. It neither slips against the laminate, nor do the bikes slip on it. It is also easy to clean, which is a great plus.

This is good quality but I ordered a length for my hall and it came in 7 pieces so now I have to tape them all together.

Does the job well (protecting my carpet from the wheels of my office chair). Lies flat. Slight chemical smell for the first few days but this has now gone. Does tend to travel a bit over the carpet but you will get this with any rug on a pile carpet so this is not a criticism.

Awful product, wish I'd read the reviews first but who would just for some carpet covering? As previously stated it doesn't grip the carpet at all and even seems to have a ability to change position even when it's not been walked on. The other issue is the pungent smell that comes off it - definitely as described by someone else, it smells of weed ! Other than that it arrived in good time :-)

With two new kittens and an open plan house, we were trying to find a way of keeping them out of our bedroom, without them scratching up the carpet. I tried the hint of double sided tape, which did work, but left a sticky band that we kept getting caught on.I tried this cut to shape and stuck on to the carpet with the double sided tape, and it worked very well for a few months...stayed in place and was not noticeable.Unfortunately, as they got older and their voices louder, they resorted to howling at the door instead, so we have admitted defeat, and they now sleep where they like.

Ordered 3 and only got one which was covered in black tar and impossible to flatten out - complete waste of money - have returned the one I received - will never use this company again
