Works great and is great fun
The media could not be loaded. Works great and is great fun! I rolled a bunch of grape leaves and each one is the exact same size. You have to be careful to tuck the filling all the way into the cavity and roll quickly. The fabric wasn't sewn very solidly so I'll have to sew it back together. I was able to take the roller out to clean it with soap and water. It would be nice if it came with instructions or at least a link to an instructional video. I can't way to put one in my white elephant gift for my Lebanese family Christmas celebration. This is an update to my review. When I used it the 2nd time for a 2nd set of rolled grape leaves, the plastic has kind of stretched out and the roller keeps popping out of the mechanism rendering it nearly useless. I was able to just roll the meat and rice to get it to the perfect width and then manually roll it into the grape leaf. Wasn't ideal but I still got perfectly sized rolls.

2) this was such cheap plastic and assembly was very poor. You are supposed to be able to roll ...
Couple of reasons why I gave this one star:1) arrived in a plastic bag, no box. I've purchased this item before, and it came in the mfr packaging ready for gift giving. I was embarassed to give this as a gift, which it was.2) this was such cheap plastic and assembly was very poor. You are supposed to be able to roll grape leaves with this, and it would not withstand the pressure of even one grape leave. The one we have is constructed of heavier plastic (made by the same company, also purchased in 2017).3) the "silk" band that is sewn on is BARELY sewn on - there are four huge stitches on each end - again, the first use these stitches will break from the force used sliding the slide to roll the grape leave. This also happened to ours, I had to get someone to sew it on their sewing machine with tight stitches. The idea of this gadget is a good one, and definitely a time saver if you are making a large batch or two of grape leaves or stuffed cabbage rolls. It is nice that they all come out a consistent size. However, if there is another company out there that makes a similar contraption made of higher quality materials, it would be worth the investment of a few more dollars. Maybe a commercial grade exists.I wouldn't recommend this item.

Fun little product
I love kitchen gadgets and this one did not disappoint. Another one I used steamed cabbage leaves with as well as collard leaves. It works great just be aware the finished product is quite small. You can fit a heaping tablespoon of filling in it. Easy clean up easy to use.

It doesn't come with instructions but youtube had a good tutorial on a similar product
I was surprised at how well it worked. I was afraid it would tear the grape leaves but I did not have any problems. It doesn't come with instructions but youtube had a good tutorial on a similar product. I like to roll my grape leaves tight and thin and this roller made them thicker than I prefer. You can set the rolls to small, medium, or large and even at the smallest setting they were still pretty short and fat but still worked very well and got the job done quickly.

It is perfect for making "Bo La Lot"
Its made with plastic and a large silk ribbon. There are no washing or how-to-use instructions so I have much doubt. Then I try it, omg, it works!!! It's simple to use. I posted my video to friends on FB, so many like/want it. I ordered 6 of this tools to give out then I started pasting the link to Amazon for their convenience. It is perfect for making "Bo La Lot".

This is a fun little kitchen toy
This is a fun little kitchen toy! I used it to make small egg rolls takes a little practice to master. At first I added too much filling. The key word here is small sized rolls. They roll up nice and tight. For me I find it a clever kitchen tool.

Worked great
Although there isn't any instructions, it was very easy to use. Just be sure to get strong enough leaves. It's so simple to use and the turnout is great :)

Three Stars
It’s ok. Not the easiest or cleanest machine to use.
