Eternal's Greatest Hits
Having recently appeared on the Big Reunion TV show and concert there is a little bit of renewed interest in Eternal. This Greatest Hits album (originally released in 1997) contains all their hits up to that point as well as a few additional tracks tacked on the end.The album is in chronological order (other than the 1st track - Angel Of Mine - which was the new single at the time) and if you paid attention to pop music or the Top 40 in the mid 90s, most of the songs will be familiar to you.Eternal were one of the few R&B groups from the UK in the chart at this time and also one of the few all female groups to have significant success pre Spice Girls - all the singles made the top 15 (including one No.1) of the chart in a 4 year period from 93 to 97. Most of the tracks are upbeat R&B tracks with a few ballads thrown in for good measure. Most of them still sound fairly fresh today which is a positive surprise. My favourite tracks are the ones I was most familiar with from the time - the first 3 hits (Stay, Save Our Love, Just A Step From Heaven) and the ballads (Oh Baby I, I Am Blessed and Someday - which featured in the Disney movie 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame') although most of the them are a decent enough listen - Crazy and Secrets are the weakest singles in my opinion. The additional tracks (Who Are You, Finally and Might As Well Be Me) don't really add a great deal. This is a pretty complete collection of their hits (only missing 99's What'cha Gonna Do - released when Eternal had been reduced to a duo) and is a worthwhile purchase for anyone who enjoyed their performances on The Big Reunion or 90s chart music in general.

Worth your time
This all-female vocal pop/R&B outfit was a kind of (unplanned) British antidote to the very successful US group TLC. The modest Eternal had not had such distinctive personalities as TLC, but produced a very solid body of quality mainstream radio music, which placed quite highly on the UK charts from 1993 to 1997, including a number one song “I Wanna Be the Only One” with BeBe Winans. Their songs, unlike TLC, were always stressing decent melody, these girls really sang. Eternal were, frankly, far from leaving an eternal stamp on pop music. Still, fans of the current likes of Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello or Anne-Marie will do well to expand their listening horizons with Eternal.

Greatest Hits as they come 🐆👍
Greatest Hits from the Greatest UK R'n'B/Soul/Jazz/Pop band of all times! It is my second 'Greatest Hits' CD in my vast Eternal collection. Bought it just to have a new one and sealed - well, here it is 👍💿🎼As a huge fan I must say that the best part of their collection is that all hit singles come in the order of their release, the new cuts (Angel of Mine, Finally and Might As Well Be Me) are around the hits and not blended in, which is good especially for an occasional fan or someone who got curious and purchased this collection 🐆If you've been looking for any single mix or radio remix version you will find them all here 💿🎧🎼

Nice
A nice collection, however, I had expected to know more songs on this one; I guess Eternal didn't have that many smash hits as I remembered. Still good though, esp. I Wanne Be the Only One, always makes me smile when I hear that track

Eternal
I just want to add it to my girls group collection. A lot of hits in this cd. All of the hits such as “Angel of Mine” then made famous by Monica.

Very disappointed. One good song on the whole cd. You would be better off just downloading the song you like
