Cost more than the usual ball launcher but worth every penny. The handle is more comfortable and ergonomic. The ball comes out at the end of the swing when expected and goes in the direction expected unlike the cheaper versions when it is anybody's guess which direction the ball will go. Picking up with the sprung end is easy. And the ball makes a noise, bounces and has got to be nicer than a dry or soggy tennis ball for the dog to have in his mouth. I would definitely buy again. Great present for anyone of your friends with a dog.

Not impressed - have developed, over the years, a technique that launches the ball quite a distance & the dog loves it, this unfortunately can't get close to the distances from the cheap flingers. The main body seems very robust & I suspect would be the best ever, if only the ball end were simple, like the cheap ones - the sprung fingers are a nice idea, but they only work once out out every four, or so, attempts to pick up the ball & they just don't grip the ball enough to make enthusiastic throwing any use at all, difficult direction control & a massive drop in power, from what I'm used to & expect. Such a shame for an apparently well made, but ultimately expensive failed attempt - back to the cheap flingers for us then.

I bought this so my girls could throw the ball easier. It releases the ball better and picks up the ball well on short grass but not long grass.

This is a great thrower, all different sizes of balls fit bit this is now my fourth one. Last one was bought in June 18 now is August and one of the prongs has broke already.... disappointing

I haven't tried it with anything other than the ball that comes with it, so can't comment on the 'throw anything ability', but what it does it does well. Throws a good range. Is comfortable in the hand. This is the only thrower that has come with a ball that my large weimeraner hasn't destroyed on the first outing. Over a month and the ball is still fine - although I don't give him the ball in the house it is kept for fetch. Ball makes whizzing noise when thrown. Not sure if the dog appreciates it, but I like it.....

used this morning difficult to pick ball up on sand and long grass, ball would not stay in holder ,very loose , lost ball already , wish bought £1.99 from pet shop , as i did in my last one , and did last longer just left at cafe 4 + years old

Very poor not good at gripping ball

I know you can get similar in pound shops for a lot less, but this is worth the extra money as it will last and last. It throws really well and is whippy enough to be very easy to throw well with. It comes with its own ball, but a normal tennis ball works well too. The ball that comes with the thrower is slightly smaller than the normal tennis ball and is black (not tennis ball yellow) which means it can be a little more difficult to find if your dog gives up playing. However, it is still an excellent thrower and I thoroughly recommend it.

Un outil solide, très pratique, facile à utiliser, qui fait le bonheur de ma pinsher naine et mon labrador. La bonne fournie avec est une balle de bonne qualité très résistante à la morsure d'un gros chien, en plus.

mon dernier lanceur acheté 3€ je les cassé en marchand dessus, donc je prend celui-ci car il avait l'air d'être le meilleur...ba non je regrette l'ancien :(- Son système de pince me plaisait car l'ancien prend uniquement les balless de tennis, et des que la balle était mouillé (baveuse) elle se collait dans le lanceur, celui-ci offre la possibilité de prendre des balles de taille différentes, ce qui est plutôt vrai, mais il a fallu le bidouiller, les pinces sont trop écarté pour toute les balles que j'ai testé, donc faut les rapprocher pour un meilleurs maintien de la baballe, et les pinces sont trop longue, ce qui gêne pour l'attraper, elle s'enfonce pas comme il faut dedans, en effet en ramassant la balle par-terre avec, les pinces touche le sol alors que la balle est pas encore bien en place donc faut les couper plus court.- La balle d'origine est à jeter tout de suite, les bandes oranges qui la compose se décolle en tout petit bout et le chien les avales, dommage car il adore cette balle, ont peu y mettre des croquette dedans ;)sinon le lanceur est bien longs, mais on lance pas la balle plus loin comparer a celui de 10 cm de moins :/ il a l'air plus costaud, il est plus beau et mieux fini.bref, balle de très mauvaise qualité, pince à revoir car pas pratique, sinon objet de bonne qualité

vraiment nickel au niveau de la qualité du produit plus la peine de se baisser pour ramasser les balles qui sont dans un excellent caoutchouc résistant et soupleétant un piètre lanceur le seul hic ... je trouve c'est la couleur de la balle un peu trop discrète quand on doit la chercher dans les herbes ou les fourrés

Permet de lancer très loin, la balle résiste au croc de notre border Collie :-)Assure parfaitement le job désiré.(Il faudra m'expliquer ce que Amazon reproche à mon commentaire, pour qu'il soit refusé !)

Le lance balle est parfait, je l'ai depuis plusieurs mois et il ne montre aucun signe de fatigue, les ressorts qui permettent d'attraper la balle foncitonnent à la perfeciton. Très bon produit dans sa catégorie.
