Grill Temperature Fork

Works great!

Little hard to read. It worked ok. Don't use it in sunlight.

I returned it. There was no temp guide for fish and the temps for meat were too high. Clearlythe manufacturer and I don't agree on how food should be cooked.

I received this as a gift. The fork is accurate as tested in boiling water; 211 degrees Fahrenheit. However it took 15 seconds to reach that temperature. This is probably not dangerous because if anything you will overcook your food if you don't wait long enough for the actual temperature to be reached. You only need to put the first 1/4" of the probe into the food which is good because the tines are very thick for a temperature gauge. The manufacturer needs to add "wait 15 seconds for the fork to reach actual temperature" to their instructions. There is no cleaning instructions but the manufacturer/distributor was very helpful. Only wet the tines of the fork;the gauge portion of the fork is not water resistant. This product would be improved by adding electronics to read temperature instantly like most high quality temperature gauges out there today.
