Very good indeed. I was holding my breath expecting them to arrive broken but they were all in one piece and in good working order - really carefully packed. I will definitely buy these again.

I am glad that Amazon reminded me that I have to review this purchase as these small "Golf Ball" sized Light bulbs are a revelation. Firstly they are very reasonably priced, to be honest, having now used them I would happily pay more for them than the asking price. Like most people these days I have grown used to a little darkness in my life since the advent of the Low Wattage Bulb, they are slow to light, some taking as much as, ten to twenty minutes to reach the required brightness. Even then they rarely give out the amount of light suggested on the box. Also they tend to be rather large bulbs, arches or spirals that can often be seen above table lampshades or hanging down from ceiling fittings. These small bulbs, however, do exactly what it says on the box. Firstly they are small, about the size of a golf ball or perhaps a little smaller, they are only five watt's and so are cheap to run but emit an instant, bright light when turned on(no waiting for ages until the light "Ramps up") and the light emitted easily matches that stated. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be reviewing or excited by the purchase of "Light Bulbs" but here I am. My house is brighter despite the fact that I am saving money. I have bought another pack of ten since buying the originals to populate my other lamps. "Winter is Coming" as Ned Stark would say and these are a great buy to keep the darkness at bay.

I've been resisting changing to LED bulbs for over a decade, but after sky-high electric bills and bulbs that explode, get far too hot, don't last for more than a month or so, and trip fuses constantly when I switch a fixture on (three lamps in a 24-hour span recently), I've been forced to find an alternative bulb.So, it's "goodbye incandescent", and "hello, ugly, flat, greenish, hospital-like LED"! I HATE THEM. I really do, and the fact that I'm "light sensitive" doesn't help either; my moods are affected terribly and depression will sneak its creepy, awful self into the room. I'm dead serious. So I'm going to try halogen bulbs next, or maybe I'll just leave the house occasionally! Hey, there's an idea. haha!I'm laughing so I don't cry, wish me luck in my lighting venture.

Lamps seem quite good, unfortunately one did not work have sent two emails via amazon but no response !!!!!!!!

Arrived very quickly, used 3 out of 4 bulbs and one was faulty. It made a humming noise when I switched my lamp on then it blew first time using it!! I thought it was my lamp at first but it is definitely the bulb. Have not tested the last one yet so I hope it will be fine!

When I moved into my new place i replaced all the old filament bulbs with these. There light is a natural colour whilst saving on power and replacement costs. I recently bought a supermarket brand LED bulb as the fitting required a bayonet adaptor and it gave off a humming noise, I have not had this problem with this brand whatsoever. They haven't let me down nearly a year later.

Packaged received but one of the 4 bulbs is faulty. Luckily i only need 3 and not worth the hassle of sending back. Working bulbs nice and bright.
