Buy this and the next in series
Really enjoyed this book. Main character has many threads to her life and not what you would expect. I found myself drawn to reading in order to find out what was going to happen next. I got this first book for free and knew it was the first of a series and normally I do not like left feeling I need to know more and have to buy another book to find out what happens next to the characters. However I am hooked and have ordered the next in the series. The characters are interesting and the many twists and turns keep you wanting to know more and make you feel engaged with their lives.

Good book no ending
This was a good book but there is no end as you have to purchase book 2 and possibly more books. Very disappointed that authors do this now and have stopped reading books if they say it is book 1 as realize I shall have to go on and purchase others as I like to know the endings. Good for the authors as a way of making more money but not for those who cannot afford keep buying books. I am dependent on books as I am unable to do much due to illness and a book can help me forget my problems.

Absolutely fabulous!!
This is the first of Britneys books I have read and it's definitely not the last. I loved every minute of it and I'm excited to read more! I enjoyed the thrill and suspense Bedrock offers, I particularly love Britneys writing style. I fell into the story straight away and I was hooked, and I can't wait to read on to find out what happens to these fabulous characters! I can only give this book five stars - it deserves much more. Britney King is on my favourite authors list.

A fine tale from an excellent writer
I'm brand new to Britney King and, in a way, I'm glad I am, as this writer is a breath of fresh air. Solid plot construction with fully fleshed-out characters, and a knack of making you think you might know what, or who, happens next (I failed at that incidentally)!Do yourself a favour and buy this: I bought the next two in the trilogy because I need to know what happens next!Sorted.

Well written story, a page-turner keeping the reader interested.
The characters are well-defined and with a twist, showing that women are just as capable as men at separating home and work life while achieving such in both.Highly recommended for everyone.

Neither Gripping or a Thriller
Started off really well and was looking forward to the story unfolding, then............it just got silly. The main female character was confusing and completely unsympathetic with the author giving her virtues that were not carried through or evident in either dialogue or actions. The plot, such as it was, didn't really flow and the 'villain' was incompetent and didn't really add anything to the story. The book was neither gripping or a thriller but a bit of a lame romance with each of the main characters changing personalities throughout the book - maybe that was the psychological bit? Gave it 2 stars as I did manage to read it to the end.

A Good Read
This is a great book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a must read book and I recommend it to anyone. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book

Two stars for two-dimensional cardboard cutout characters
I give it two stars because it kept me going through to the disappointing ending. I can't say I really enjoyed it, I kept reading through curiosity, it contained the standard cast - a billionaire, a feisty independent woman, a nut-job baddie, a quick career change from account exec to dominatrix, what it didn't have was any real characterisation or any real threat or thrill. You could see the plot ahead of you as you went, with the sole exception of the ending - it simply stopped part way through, requiring you to buy the sequel if you wanted to find out more. Which I didn't !
