PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM SNaylerBooksfirst I have to say this is a good violin book for the beginners, the pieces start with 2 fingering , then 3rd finger then add the 4th finger, because I needed the old edition so I bought from SNaylerBooks which they describe the book in good condition, the seller marked it as used in good condition, however the book arrived with stains on the cover , and wrinkled edges, worst of all CD is not working, so this is definitely not in good condition. Due to emergency , my daughter has an audition so I could not return it but have to use it . the two stars are given to the book. no stars to SnaylerBooks , one of my worst buying experience. avoid this seller , there is plenty of other sellers out there.

Excellent!! everthing you need as a beginner to learn the violin. My 9 year old son is really enjoying playing the songs. Well illustrated songs with a cd so you can play along to the backing track
