Seems fine, but no adapter and are 200 5 star reviews in 6 days really genuine?
When received, there was no sign of an adapter. Several reviews state power adapter is included, and the fifth bullet on the description page states 'High-grade chipset and adapter guarantee stable operation ....'. However, the pictures do not show an adapter and the supplied package specification implies that a separate adapter is required. However on first use, the product seems to work just fine without the adapter.On the subject of the reviews, should I be suspicious about 200 reviews all posted in 6 days between 15 and 20 Sep 17 and all with a 5 star grading?So this is the first 3 star review - I am being cautious on product durability and don't like the ambiguous description on the adapter.

This worked fine and transferred 1Gb in twenty seconds
I have taken note of all the 5 star reviews all written and between 15th and 20th September as someone else has stated"On the subject of the reviews, should I be suspicious about 200 reviews all posted in 6 days between 15 and 20 Sep 17 and all with a 5 star grading?" I received the unit today today 16th November and was surprised there was no power adaptor as stated in the title.I however, plugged into a table top PC which will normally have more power, this one certainly has and connected one external hard drive . This worked fine and transferred 1Gb in twenty seconds. Fair enough. I plugged in another hard drive and it would not connect until I ejected the first. I tried four external hard drives and not one would connect. Now I can understand about most of the reviews being somewhat suspicious. Why is it that this seller cannot be more transparent about the product they are selling. It ceretainly is not SUPER SPEED POWERED. I have already started the return process. What a complete waste of time.............................................ONE STAR

Says powered, but no cable/plug supplied.
Though advertised as powered, and having a power inlet, no power cable/plug was provided. Item returned.Also, before purchasing this item I'd advise anyone to cast a CRITICAL eye over the 201 5-star reviews.
