How do these work for the flowering stage? Does anyone have experience?

the uv lights are flowering lights and work well, particularly if you use a growth method that gives you an even canopy. look for the vegetative counterpart for the early weeks, as these uv lights are in the flowering light spectrum, and will not get small, young plants off to a good start. i recommend spending a little more for, maybe, a 280 w. wish i had.

im confused, which one is the veg light and whats the model on the flowering light?

The UV light is the flowering one; the one you're asking about. The flowering light is the one with many more red bulbs, as opposed to the veg light, which has more blue bulbs. The best way to tell is to scroll way down to the product description which begins: " Designed specifically for flowering growth". These lights are high quality metal construction with 3 watt bulbs, and the price is less than I paid. What I learned is that while one veg light is satisfactory, in flowering 2 would be better, and 3 of these light sets would be ideal. That way you can shine the beam on more tops if you want your lights to hang low, or raise the lights higher for more coverage without losing the lights' intensity.

To change the bulbs you need to send it to the manufacturer for servicing. VMInnovations is the only seller I found for these Dirt Genius lights, either on their own site or on Amazon. The customer service department at VM may be able to help you about servicing, or that info may be on the box. I have my box and it is the identical model you're looking at. Will get it out and study it for you if you ask another question. It's important to get a LED grow light with 3 watt LED bulbs, like this one, as opposed to 1 or 2 watts. I have the comparable veg light, and found that adequate for my ~7 square feet. However, I would like 1-2 more flowering lights for best coverage of the same area. I found the light did its best a few inches from the plant tops, but at this height, most of the beam went onto only one plant at a time. This is significant since the plants will be in the flowering stage for 2/3 to 3/4 of their growth cycle. That being said, I think these are the highest quality you'll get for the price. The metal construction is superb. Go to the VMInnovations website and find it by searching led grow lights. The MSRP will surprise you. You can get the same price with free shipping and another $10 off is offered for new customers.
