Very nice keyboard
I was immediately impressed by the feel of this keyboard. The keys have a very nice texture on the surface, and they have a nice spring during return, which makes typing pleasurable. It does not feel plastic-y at all, and it is extremely quiet. The body of the keyboard is all aluminum, with a polished beveled edge around the top surface so it looks nice, too. It does have non-slip rubber feet nicely positioned on the bottom. Something I would like to have included is one or two USB ports. There are no connections or ports except for the USB cable, which is permanently attached. On my particular keyboard, the right-hand shift button did not work well. But I was able to pop off the key cap and attach the mechanism correctly. Now everything works very well.

Does the job
It costs 80% less than the Apple one, does the same, feels great, and has the same functionality. The design also looks good (black one).I would buy 3 of the same before the "original" one (and will still have money to buy a mouse).

This is a fine substitute for the apple keyboard, but for photoshop....
If you spend a great deal of time in photoshop, where you've trained your hands to hold control opt, or opt shift to change brush sizes, etc., you'll want to go into system settings and dedicate the FN key to perform the role of OPT. The FN key, which for apple normally sits upper right, has been placed rather inconveniently on the lower left between a small OPT key and CONTROL. As such, it is constantly in the way. Changing FN to OPT function works fine as your fingers will find the extra key normally. You can change the weird "HELP" key to do what FN does. Do people still use help keys??? Otherwise, these keys feel nice and springy, the texture is welcome if you've worn your old one to the nibs.

Gets the job done!
Having used it for a month I would say it's a good purchase. I bought it to be used with a Mac mini.I would say it's fit for general use and works well for office work.I don't think it's a good fit for gaming.

Stopped working after 4 months
When I first received this keyboard I was impressed with the apparent build quality. I like the metal casing and it feels as good as any low travel board I've used. I chose a wired keyboard because I was hoping to have a no fuss experience and also a simpler device that would last longer. However, the opposite is what I have gotten. This board completely died after just 4 months of light use (about 1 hour a day). This is plugged into a PC that is powered by a UPS so there were no power issues or physical damage to warrant the failure. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Great keyboadr
My old keyboard kicked the bucket about 3 weeks ago, so I needed something inexpensive but reliable and with quick delivery. This was a great choice. I am very happy with it, been using it for several weeks now and have no complaints. If anyone has concerns about using it with an apple product, I am currently using it with a mac mini. I definitely recommend and would purchase again.

It's very similar to the Apple keyboard
So my Apple keyboard died after 10 years and it was time for me to buy a new one. I love the full wired keyboard, I have an Apple wireless one but I don't type as well on it because its so small, so I prefer the full sized keyboard. The original Apple keyboard costs $190! So, I thought I would give this one a try first. In my experience though, Apple always works better and with that being said... this keyboard works great until my computer went to sleep, then it didn't work. I have to unplug it and re-plug it in every time I 'wake' it from a couple hours of non use. Sooooo, I bit the bullet and bought the Apple keyboard for $190 and I hope it lasts another ten years. I am keeping this one as a backup in case anything happens to my Apple jewel that I now have to handle with kid gloves. So be aware that this may not work perfectly but it's good for the price if you don't mind the unplugging and plugging in over and over.
