Highly recommended - almost perfect
First, this is the older style, not the newest, but it was cheaper. This is my 3rd Samsonite laptop backpack with wheels, with the first 2 lasting a long time before the wheels gave out. So long I can’t remember when I got it. This version is really good with additional zipped places for stuff such as clothes, cables etc. laptop and pens glasses and things. The only flaw is the positioning of the hand strap, at the back of the bag when previously it was across the middle. I can see why that position was chosen, but it is an issue. Basically if you are wheeling the bag and need to lift it to clear a bump or use stairs the handhold is underneath. On the London Underground that is a problem.

Amazing product.
Great product. I use it for hybrid working and its great for transporting laptop and work items between home and work. Very strong, lots of pockets for storage. The handle collapses easily and smoothly and its nice and light.

Quality and long last
This is a great small travel bag, plenty of room for the 15”laptop and enough room left over for a couple of days away. This is a quality Samsonite bag, I travel a lot and have had Samsonite bags for a long time and they have never let me down. The similar one this will replace is still going and has been all over the world on flights, train and car.

Good functionality
Separate sections for laptop, pens and room for my cordless keyboard and mouse too. I had a backpack for work but too heavy especially as I suffer shoulder and neck problems. Hope this will help on the days I go into the office. I only need to take it from car park to office/home nearby. Will update once I have updated it.I have used it and it was smooth rolling on concrete path and office carpet. It stood up well without tilting over. I am happy.

Great upgrade for travelling with laptop and kit
I teavel a lot with work and was finding my regular over the shoulder laptop back getting smaller the more I needed. So bought this as I liked the option to trail it on the wheels when in airports. It's fantastic, well made, good compartments and protection for laptop in centre compartment. You do need to make sure the weighty stuff is packed nearer the wheels at the bottom or it can tip over easy but that's just common sense when packing a shoulder bag. Totally recommend this 👍

Arrived damaged from previous use plus awful design, won't stand up when used as advertised.
Awful! It looked fine on arrival after a quick checkover so I put it to one side for a day or so until I was packing for the airport. Firstly, when I pulled out the backpack straps from their storage pouch, one of them was ripped to shreds. This bag had clearly been sent out, used, damaged, returned to Amazon then sent to me without being fully checked. Next, a list of problems with the design and quality.....1. if you use it as the layout suggests (a couple of shirts in the back pocket with the straps to hold them in place, a laptop in the padded centre pocket and a few odds and ends in the little pouches within the front pocket), it will not stand up. It just falls forward. Even with the front pocket left empty and everything in the middle and rear pocket to keep the weight to the rear, it will still not stand up. 2. The padded computer pocket only has a small square of velcro on the strap that holds the laptop in place. If you laptop is smaller than about 15 inches (I have a MacBook Air), the velcro is in the wrong place to secure it so it can move about in that whole section of the bag. 3. The stitching started to become undone in various places after just one use. 4. There is nowhere to stow the excess webbing on the straps if you have the backpack straps pulled tight. You end up with about a foot of loose webbing each side which, if you suddenly need to change to using it as a drag along, gets caught in the wheels (this is I'm sure what had caused the damage it arrived with). Every other backpack I've had has some sort of elastic strap to hold this excess webbing. 5. Changing from backpack to drag along takes time, stowing the straps takes time and is fiddly. I cannot believe that Samsonite have produced this bag, it genuinely feels as though it was never actually tested with any contents. The only saving grace?? I rang Amazon customer service as I was about to leave for the airport to tell them about the problems. The lady I spoke to was really helpful and said she fully understood that under the circumstances I needed to still use the bag as the damage was discovered too late for me to find an alternative. She then made a note on my account to say I could return it when I arrived home. Thank goodness for Amazon, I'd have been gutted if I'd bought this from elsewhere, been forced to use it and not be able to get a refund. PLEASE buy something with better reviews!
