Comfort is our primary concern! We worked hard to get the most comfortable diaper for your baby while still holding in all the poos! To get that comfortable feel, we have made the legs adjustable from the inside out. We did away with messy looking, fiddle-some rise snaps on the outside of the diaper. Instead, we have replaced them with a drawstring like internal leg elastic system that works like magic! SoftBums recommends prepping your diapers by pre-washing them in hot with cloth diaper safe detergent before using. Bamboo fibers may need to be pre-washed 10 times before you stop seeing leaks. We also recommend changing baby frequently when your diapers are new to avoid leaks. Choose your shell echo: this is the trimmest diaper out there. (it's called echo because it will be the first one your grab for when it's clean, and you'll keep wanting to use it over and over and over) Omni: the do everything diaper! You can use this during the day on a baby 8lbs and over, and it has a bit of a fuller cut to it so it will fit older toddler’s better, and chunky babies better too. This is also the best choice for night time diapering. Next choose your absorbent pod: dry touch: these have an amazingly soft fleece on the top layer which we have specially milled. It helps keep baby feeling dry, plus never stains. Natural bamboo: true to their name, they are the most natural choice. In addition to being more breathable, they are butter soft, and trimmer and more absorbent than the dry touch. They are pricier, but so worth every penny.

Softbums Omni shell
Love using these for our cloth diapers. Not very fond of their original inserts, we use them with regular flat diapers, but inserts work too. It's a hassle to clean the inserts because they have all these cleaning recommendations and drying instructions (can't be put in a dryer) - doesn't work when you have a non-stop pooping and peeing machine and need clean and dry diapers! Inserts are also pricey. But the shells work great.

I love these cloth diaper shells and will be buying more
I love these cloth diaper shells and will be buying more! I have a chunkier baby and these work great for her and will definitely last over 30+ lbs as they claim it will. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love
Absolutely my favorite cloth diaper. Easy to secure. I did a lot of research before buying the omni, and it was definitely worth it.It still fits my son at 22lbs

My FAVORITE Diaper!!
I LOVE these diapers!!! We've been cloth diapering for 2 years and these are by far my favorites! I love the adjustability of the legs and that i can use them as pockets or as an AI2.

Three Stars
Good for chunky thighs, but is too pricey for the overall quality.

Neat concept but it's just okay
I wanted to love this diaper but there isn't much to love. It adjusted well and I don't have leaks with it but there's nothing special about it either. This may work better for someone with an itty bitty baby.

Softbums Omni H&L lasts
I didn't start using omnis until my son slept more than a couple hours at night, and by then he was about 9 lbs. By around 4 months they were all I used because he pees so much. If you have any leaking / sizing issues, definitely check out their superfans Facebook group. The photo of the leaking breastmilk poo in a white shell is likely due to the new diaper not being sealed in the dryer before use, which is an issue with cloth diapers in general. The other ladies there were incredibly helpful! I've used a small group of omnis with SB bamboo inserts and some Geffen baby inserts for the past few months. Washing every other day, all the diapers I bought new still have like-new sticky velcro and springy elastics. The ability to change the leg sizing makes these my favorite diaper. My son started out incredibly skinny and tall as a newborn. Then he finally started putting on fat. The elastics being custom in sizing makes it easier to get the perfect fit, and it's nice not having to switch brands or buy a new set of diapers just because he got a bit older. I've had to sell a few other brands I had that were one-size because the change in his body type didn't match the diaper style anymore. There are a couple cons. Diaper stuffing takes time. I used to be able to lay inserts flat on the shell, but since my son pees so much it works best if I stuff the diaper now. Unfortunately that's a flaw regardless of diaper brand! I've tried some AIO diapers, but none of them hold enough urine to make it through the night, and most won't make it through a single pee (I'm looking at you, best bottoms "heavy wetter" AIO! How many more lies must you tell?!), so my next step would be fitted if necessary. Fortunately, softbums hold enough fluff this isn't an issue yet.Other cons are some older prints such as red robots, ooga booga, etc...fade over time. Also, if you have a particularly aggressive washing machine, it can cause the toggles to slip out of position, but that's not an issue on my usual machine, only when I went on vacation. Finally, they are a bit more expensive than most brands for a shell only. My guess is the biggest reason for this is that the shells are made in the US. Most other brands, including Lighthouse Kids, manufacture their diapers in China which is less expensive.I'm a big fan of the omni and strongly recommend Softbums. Periodically, the company has sales and releases new prints. If the shell is too expensive at full price, there are sometimes sales up to 35% off. It's truly a one-size diaper that fits from newborn stage on, and compared to other brands retains its value well for resell.

Best Quality Diaper Available
These diapers are amazing. They are the only one size diaper that actually fit newborns, they fit babies of all shapes. Honestly those leaving bad reviews obviously had issues do to user error and had they followed the instructions, they wouldn’t have had any issues. We have been using these amazing diapers for almost a year and hav not had a single leak (aside from the few in the beginning while trying to figure out fit & absorbency-user error). Yes the price is a bit higher then other brands, but the quality is way higher than other brands and the resale value is way higher as well.
