A Christmas Carol (Deluxe Gift Edition)

I've always wanted to read this novel, and it came ina beautiful hardback design, a fantastic read and very festive! Thank you for the great book!

This is the what I thought I was purchasing when I bought a very popular but deeply inferior copy elsewhere on Amazon. This book is the perfect present. The hard cover is elegant and sturdy. The pages are good quality with gold gilt edging. The print is crisp & clear and the coloured pictures are true to the original lithographs.

This book looks well made. The illustrations are by Arthur Rackham. Gold trim edged. Well worth what I paid. A lovely present idea. It will be treasured.👍👍

This is a beautiful edition of the Christmas Carol with gilt-edging and illustrations throughout. I'll be reading it every Christmas from now on.

The cover is well made and would sit beautifully on a collectors bookshelf.Arrived in excellent condition. No problems at all. Happy with purchase.

I loved the size, the gold leaf and the beautiful illustrations. A lovely gift for book lovers. However, I hated the sticky label that was stuck to the book cover itself, rather than the plastic covering. I bought two copies, one as a gift and one to keep. I carefully removed the sticker from mine but I was concerned it may leave a mark so left the other in situ. Why do sellers do this to books? Hence I knocked off a star.N.B. This is the version available in the UK and does not have a slip cover as described in other reviews.

A real feel good classic presented in hard cover to replace my dog eared classic of Dickens Christmas Stories , read this story every year to make me feel good about Christmas and the possibility of redeeming our lives with doing good things for others.

I will use this book for some Christmas gift boxes I am creating, and I love this particular publishing. It has a delightful red cover for Christmas. In addition, the publisher encloses it in a plastic sleeve so it doesn’t get damaged during the shipping process. Perfect!

Aun recuerdo cuando mi mama me dio este libro para leer en diciembre, no pude soltarlo, y esta edición es bella de pasta dura es tal como la foto con dibujos de la época, es pequeño, mis sobrinos quienes pensaban que A Christmas Carol era originalmente hecha por Disney o Pixar como película, (le he pedido a Dickens perdón x semejante insulto) sus ojos enormes cuando les dije que el libro había sido escrito hace 180 años y han pedido venir a leerlo aquí la siguiente navidad pero les prestare la version sencilla mientras hacemos galletas, este libro rojo con dorado divino estará en mi mesa de cafe en la sala durante la próxima temporada navideña, libro altamente recomendable
