Not suitable for injured paws
Difficult to fit onto a sore paw (post surgery) as they're very tight, but once on, they didn't bother her. Last for a couple of hours of outdoors activity. Probably good if the purpose is just to keep them dry.

Perfect
Rubber socks for my dog, who is 15 years old and a little unsteady on her feet. They are perfect for her. She is happy to wear them and they really help her feel more steady on her feet.

Seems quite durable so far
Bought these as recommended by a vet after my dog suffered a fit and was left with a back leg limp, she dragged it slightly! I was recommended by a vet to try these as to avoid a sore to the paw! They are a little tough to get onto the poor but once I got the hang of it it did get easier! My dog didn’t mind having it put on and she appeared to be comfortable wearing them. They are also easy to wipe clean so extra bonus….

Not suitable for lurchers
My dog is a lurcher and has 'hare paws' rather than the kind of paws typically associated with dogs. The bootees will not stay on her. Apart from this, the rubber opening is so tight that it takes two people to put them on, one to hold the paw and another to use two hands to pull the bootee open. One would expect such a tight thing to stay on but it doesn't.I tried over and over to use these, including putting a sock inside to protect the paw, as my vet suggested, but my dog easily trots them off, sometimes before I leave the house. If they come off when we're out, I can't put them on again on my own.Go sticky after a couple of washes, I found. So not that eco friendly. I was going to try a bit of talc but can't risk it getting inside my dog's damaged claws.May work okay for more standard dog paw.

Good product for an active dog
Bought these for my spaniel who ripped his nail off, very impressed, as some reviews state bit awkward to get on and initially required 2 people but once I got the hang of it was able to do single handed. One boot lasted 3 walks with him being a typical spaniel before it got a hole in it.Overall happy with them as with an active dog I didn’t expect them to last more than one walk and they kept his foot completely clean and dry and didn’t fall off!

Last well
They look like balloons, thought they would last all of 2 seconds, but they are great. Bit tricky to stretch to get on to start with and not sure how comfortable they are for the dog, but he doesn't mind me putting it on so probably not too tight on the leg.I got a top tip from another dog walker whose dog had one on - use a baby sock under the boot to keep the toes in (if not using to cover a bandage) this also covers nails so they don't pop through at the toe.
