Teflon Bone Folder by Vintage Paper Co

I had reservations about paying so much for a bone folder ..... but I have been through several cheaper ones, and was sorely tempted by the claims made about this one. And I am so glad I bought it! It feels nice in the hand .... a good weight, smooth, well balanced - and it puts a good crease on paper/card. As it is supposed to be virtually unbreakable, perhaps it will be the last I need to buy - in which case, a great purchse. It's only a bone folder - it does what it says it should do ..... but if such a simple tool can be a pleasure to use, this is the one to buy.

I put off buying this because I thought it was expensive for what it is, but after my normal bone folder marked and ruined one too many projects, I decided to just buy it to try out. I wish I'd bought it so much sooner! The quality is second to none, it's smooth all over and feels comfortable when I'm using it, it doesn't leave any sort of mark on my card and makes very clean creases. My last one was much thinner, lighter, had a logo printed onto it which marked my project if I wasn't careful, and scratched my project if I used two particular areas.In short; don't be put off by the price, the amount I've wasted on ruined projects would probably be more than the cost of this bone folder if I added them up, so for me it's a very good investment. I would definitely recommend this Teflon bone folder to anybody.

Excellent teflon bone folder. I have been using it on delicate Japanese paper and it does not leave any shiny bits. No marks. Very sturdy instrument and very well made, great value yet again from Vintage Paper Co. everything I have bought from them is top of the range.

I bought this bone folder after seeing it on someone's craft blog as one of their must have top ten items. I had noticed that the bone folder that comes with the scoring board I bought years ago, often ruins the card by marking it and tearing the card. I am pleased to say that this teflon bone folder does not do that and works perfectly every time. It does seem expensive but then you pay for quality.I think you can get smaller size ones than this but for me this is ideal. It helps that adhesives, glue and paint don't stick to teflon. I have also seen people use the tip for making decorative markings on cards.It is proving to be very useful and I am pleased with it.
