Weighted correct it stays standing up and is really nice.
Even though this is aluminum it has a good solid weight. Not steel, I know because my induction burner would not turn on with this on it so I had to use the stove.We had fun making Christmas Turkish coffee.I recommend only fill with water to below the neck otherwise it will boil over.I love it!

Very attractive
I ordered this to heat up pancake syrup with butter loike I did before Microwaves and it worked well for that. It arrived with some instructions to make Turkish coffee and I'll be doing that soon.
