320 Assam teabags for £14 What a bargain!
I do like a good cup of tea and recently have moved away from the mass market brands, such as the one with the monkeys and the one with the little men from Yorkshire who live in a tea pot to some of the more upmarket brands. Not that I'm being snobby or anything its just that sometimes the quality can be a bit variable. Yes, I know that Twinning is part of Associated British Foods, the same company that owns British Sugar and, bizarrely, Primark, but it comes over as being more sophisticated and better quality than most of the others. I have tried quite a few of the others too ranging from the cheapo supermarket own labels to some of the more exclusive products that come in fancy boxes with quirky names. Of all those I have tried, I have settled on Twinings Assam as my absolute favourite morning tea, and by that I mean tea that you drink in a cup with a splash of milk when you wake up rather than the green teas or herbal infusions you might have in the evening or after a meal to cleanse your palate. This Assam tea is the business. It is strong tasting without being overpowering and is malty and rich. And buying it in this format of 4 x 80 bag boxes = 320 tea bags for £14 works out at less than 4.4p per cup which is actually LESS than you would pay for an inferior product. And each box contains foil sealed inner packages too so the tea will not go off too quickly. The sell by date on the boxes I purchased were over a year from the date of purchase too which means that as long as I average more than 0.9 cups per day (which I am sure I will) then they will not have gone off before I finish the boxes. This is an excellent, and cheap, way to buy and excellent tea. As long as you have sufficient storage space this is a winner.

Excellent Assam Tea
we buy this tea regularly - it's consistently strong, malty and delicious and worth every penny. Buying in bulk means no running out of tea on a busy morning which would be disaster. Well packaged and delivered and excellent quality tea.

Best tea on the market!
I’m a tea aficionado, I love tea. I drink 8 - 10 cups a day. I buys teas from all over the world, some costing as much as £100 for 50 grams. But the best tea you can buy for a very reasonable price is this Twinnings Assam and the M&S luxury Gold, which is also an assam tea. This Twinnings tea has a full flavoured, rich malty taste. It perfect in the morning with a splash of milk and sugar… it taste delicious! It even lends itself to be taken black with a slice of lemon, tastes superb. That other tea from Yorkshire…please, it doesn’t compare to Twinnings Assam. Of all the regular price teas available at the supermarkets, Twinning Assam and M&S Luxury Gold are the best flavoured teas by far.If you love tea, do yourself a favour and by this delicious Assam tea. You will not regret it.

Great Value for Money - sometimes
These fluctuate in price quite a bit on Amazon. When I first bought them they cost around £14 - at that price they were far cheaper than the local supermarket! The next time I looked they were £21! I only had to wait a few days until they were once again at the £14 mark. At the lower price they are very good value for a strong and tasty cup of tea!(These are my own thoughts on items I have bought)

GOOD AND DELICIOUS
Basic black tea but better than all its competitors. Although the price is a bit much, its worth it. Also, the teabags come well sorted in the box. So, there is no hassle. Would highly recommend.

Strong and flavorful in perfect sealed foil packaging
I am loving the flavor. It's strong and with a beautiful aroma. Price is on the higher side, could be made a bit more competitive. It's made in India, but guess they still have the colonial hangover and hence the price. Packaging is super and whoever said that there are staples on the tea bags are incorrect. I have posted the pictures, please check for yourself.Recommended, a good buy for quality tea lovers.

Best tea flavor I have had
The flavor is absolutely delicious. Each sachet can be used for 2 large cups of tea yet flavor is not reduced in either of the cups. And the presentation of the package and sachets is wonderful. Worth every penny!!
