The media could not be loaded. Water still flows down drain ok. Fits perfectly. Good price for the pkg. of two. And no more clogged drain ….. It is a light weight material though…..but stays in place.

Had a plumbing repair of a slow draining sink. The stopper had pieces that broke off and it was removed. Instead of replacing the whole sink, or paying more just to have a stopper, I thought this would be better. I never used the bathroom sink to soak something so I did not need stopper. It is PERFECT. It looks like it is part of it......it will be difficult for anything to get down the drain. Hair could still make it is way but will reduce it dramatically. I use one in my kitchen (larger) and I do not have issues with clogged sinks. I really like the aesthetics because it does look like is part of the hardware and belonged.

Used in bathroom sink. Drains very well. Easy to clean once you get it out of the sink. The edge of it is thin, and with the conformation of my sink, it was a little tricky to get ahold of.MUCH better than the mushroom style version of these products - though I have not had this one nearly as long, it is easier to clean so far - the others accumulate black sludge that is very difficult to clean out of the stem, and slows the drain.

I like the look of these, very minimalist and solid. They fit well and do the job of trapping hair. However, I just can’t live with how slowly they drain! Washing my face just feels gross with dirty water rising in the sink the whole time.My sinks aren’t normally clogged or slow. It’s the drain strainer slowing things down.The package advises you to adjust the sink valves so your water stream is weaker (to “match” the slow drainage caused by the strainer). I don’t want weak flow from my faucet!These were cheap enough that I just tossed them and ordered the mesh kind instead.

My bathroom sink stopper broke and this sink strainer works perfectly for my sink. I now don't lose anything down the drain because of this strainer.

not sure they are worth 10 bucks but shiny chrome, strainer basket & fit my sink like a glove so all good

This small sink strainer is well made and fits my bathroom drain perfectly. It's a quality product it just doesn't work for my needs. I find the water doesn't drain fast enough and ends up backing up. Depending on your needs this may work perfectly for you, drains and fits fine just slowly.
