I ordered a pack of these Monkey magnets so that I could put them on a cabinet door that wouldn't stay closed. They worked perfectly (I used the double sided tape provided, rather than screws). I've had these on that cabinet for over six months, and the drawer opens and closes without difficulty, and stays shut. My daughter saw the pack and took four of them to use in her workshop, using them to keep cabinet doors closed. We liked them so much that I ordered another pack to use in our RV to keep our cabinet doors and drawers from opening while traveling. So far they have served us well, doing the job they were intended to do. On every installation, we have used the included sticky tape, and adhesion is great. We have never had one pull off the tape. These magnets are strong, and work great. We have ordered multiple times, they are just that good and versatile.

Rubbish did not work

Muy buen producto. Resistente y muy fácil de instalar. Al fin he podido mantener cerrada la puerta de una vitrina. La calidad es excelente y trae tornillos para asegurar mejor si es necesario. Solo necesita escoger donde ponerlo y listo! Ampliamente recomendado

Exactly what I needed.

It was several months before I tried the magnets. I was afraid they wouldn’t work and I’d have to face the fact that I’d have to pay someone to fix my extremely heavy wooden kitchen cabinet door that hung open at a 45 degree angle after the hardware failed. Eventually I couldn’t stand it any longer. First I had to get the package open, no small feat. Then I had to get out a magnifying glass to search for a recycling code, without success. And it was almost impossible to remove a set of magnets from their plastic holder. Then, like the people who wrote negative reviews, at first I couldn’t detect any backing to peel off. (It would have been easier if the backing had slightly overlapped the metal. ) I applied the two halves, but THE MAGNETS ARE SO STRONG that half side pulled the other right off the wood when I opened the door! Luckily, I just needed one set, so I had plenty of extras to try again, since the piece was no longer sticky. (It wouldn’t have been appropriate to use the screws.). I had worried that the magnets wouldn’t be strong enough, but it was just the opposite. Then I had a brilliant solution. I covered part of the magnet with tape, so the pull wasn’t as strong. It worked. So far it’s holding. If it doesn’t I’ll come back and amend this review. I’m so pleased, that I’m awarding five stars, despite all my complaints about the packaging.
