We've played a different version every night for 4 days straight!
It took a LONG time to get it all set up the first time, and even LONGER to get our heads around the rules (each time we've played we've realised we've been doing something wrong, so I'm still not convinced that we've nailed all of the rules yet!), But it is such a good game to play!As a couple, we love board games, but it's so hard to find decent ones that you can play as a 2. This has ticked that box for us. There are so many different set ups and intricacies that I can see how it will feel like a different game every time for a long time. The parts are well made and sturdy enough to last. The rules and instructions, although lengthy, are very clear and well written. The attention to detail is superb: we've loved the story elements to it, which make it much more interesting. We're already looking at expansion sets!Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes cooperative and/or strategy games.

Move to clue area and ward doommm..
Tried to like this game , for a start it looks great and has some clever stuff that is enjoyable in its own right. Problem is there isn't much for the player to do , you only get 2 actions per turn and the actions you take are a quite obvious,... although different actions become available depending on what cards you have and how the mission progresses, the rest of the time your manage the game AI, if you haven't played a modern boardgame you might be well impressed with it. By the way despite the name it's nothing like 2nd Edition Arkham Horror, it's a different game.Edit : after subsequent plays it's definitely grown on me, it's fun. It's very thematic with invidual stories being driven by codex cards, so there are meaningful decision and branching paths to take. One last word , the graphic design and art in this game is fantastic.

Hours of fun
Box was in good shape despite some abuse by the post office, some cards slightly bent but easy to fix.Played the first game the day after it arrived with people unfamiliar with this kind of boardgames and they enjoyed it.Rules are a little tricky at first glance and naturally of Fantasy Flight games; so many tokens. Watch the carpet afterwards.

More of the same - for Arkham Horror 3rd edition fans only!
Yes, much of this stuff should have been in the base game - and do you really need a monster card holder? Perhaps a bit pricey for what you get but if you like this game, are a fan of all things Lovecraft inspired, then why not when it clearly adds more depth and enhances replayability of the game. Same high quality components and the new cards have a tiny identifier so if you need to separate DON stuff at a later stage it's easy.

Worth the Pain
New Expoansion, new rulkes, new ways to make you suffer, If you like a family freindly romp, this isnt for you. But it is one of the best co-op games for average to regular players, and the new additions in this pack just add more to the fun.

Awesome game.
It’s the strong atmosphere and narrative that makes even non-gamers appreciate this game. I have many friends who generally don’t play much board games but are always willing to play this game. The mechanic is much more akin to Eldritch Horror with some the LCG story structures, and even Pandemic features. However as a minor point, the game doesn't scale difficulty with low player count very well i.e. 1-2 player is easier, i had to tweak the mythos bag tokens to ramp up the difficulty a bit. 3-4 players is the sweet spot i think.Overall, it is an awesome game if you don't already own Eldritch Horror. It's a blast of fun with friends for a few hours.

A worthwhile successor to Eldritch and Arkham 2
Old school fan of Arkham and Eldritch, this is easily the best and most refined version yet. The mechanics are all really tight and work well together, it looks great and is well made. If you like your spooky co-op games, then you should definitely pick this up.
