So useful with any type of intricate work. Careful handling, patience and a light touch are essential to avoid breaking any tools. The kit has pretty much everything to start working, polished my motorcycle exhaust manifold, cut pipes, plastic, tiles, screws and cut numerous holes in plastic, wood and metal. With two batteries its working time is extended, charging one while using the other. Highly recommend as you find uses more than what you expected.

Extremely versatile tool that has many uses. Everyone should have one. Very nice case that it comes in too. Also no wires thanks to it being battery powered which makes it so easy and much safer to use. Still packs a punch too. You might think that a battery operated tool wouldn't be anywhere near as powerful as mains operated. But don't be fooled. This tool can really cut the mustard

i originally ordered the dremel 8220 with 5 attachments/65 accessories at the price of £171.11. The next day it was reduced to 124.99 BLACK FRIDAY DEAL, as so i cancelled the original order & re-ordered another. with what i had saved i treated myself to the dremel 724 EX SpeedClic 150 accessory pack of which was also reduced by 47% There’s a few little job’s need doing with this around the house, i used it today for the 1st time, the neighbour has put long, very pointed screw’s through the fence panel, pointed end my side. They were easily cut off. Looking forward to using it more.

Mistake. I've had two rotary tools . Both became tired after a while . Just received the Dremel , and wish I'd gotten one years ago great to work with in a box that in it's self makes access easy and not having to wind a cable ... Marvelous . Two batteries so don't think I'll ever run out of power and a keyless Chuck , magic .Mistake , not buying in the first place! Price is above most but no ozone smell in use no Sparks inside . It says good build and ease of use . I could go on .... But if it wares out I will buy another DREMEL .

I picked this up on ther recommendation of my father. This tool is excellent and has made light work of many projects that would have needed a wider collection of tools and a lot of elbow grease. I have taken on restoring an old bike. This has helped me sand the awkward to reach and stubborn areas of paint, as well as cut off brazed on parts from the frame and grind them down flush. I’ve found so many other uses for this and will adding to my collection of accessories and bits. Having this tool will give you the confidence to undertake lots of jobs around the house!

This is my second Dremel, my first being a corded one almost 20 years ago. That one still works fine despite heavy use. This one is even better, being cordless it can go anywhere and seems just as powerful, if not a bit more than my old one. Battery life seems very good, I've not has it run flat mid job yet. The only time it suffered was when I was trying out the router bits, which I was pushing hard. Get the keyless chuck because the collets are just a nuisance. I didn't fit the little Led light that makes this different from the 8200, it's optional. This version was cheaper when I bought it though, so a no brainer.

It’s a good device but the instructions are none existent. Sure you can find various videos online, but Dremel should make their own video for this specific device and the accessories it comes with. The video should go through each accessory and show how to attach and use those accessories on various materials. Dremel could also have a bonus video showing how to attach and use other accessories which are available to buy. The huge single sheet that comes with the device helps but it isn’t enough. Seems like a lazy option by the company.

I'm extremely pleased with it: it does just what I wanted, from small repairs to model making. (At the price you pay I think they could have added a few more things to use, such as circular saw, diamond drill bits, etc. A bit parsimonious!) The case is sturdy and well constructed; and all the different accessories, plus the drill itself, are embedded in foam cut-outs so they don't rattle around. The pull-out accessory draw contains several really useful add-ons, and automatically locks once the lid is closed. It would be useful if Dremel included a guide as to what is used for what (particularly the grinding stones -- and it's difficult to find online. They appear to assume you know. (I don't!) But overall, a very good purchase.
