HFP-361-BUR Fuel Pump with Strainer and Regulator Replacement for Buell XB9 / XB12 / Lightning X1 / Firebolt Ulysses / XB9R / XB12R Replaces P0166.K, P0166K, T0121.02A8

This came with everything you need to replace a fuel pump. I ordered a fuel pressure regulator which I wish I didn't because this came with one. Oh well it's good to have a spare. This is this on a buell xb9sx.Update. Just installed today. This Fuel pump is strong! Huge difference compared to the older one in my buell. The only thing I had to do was go to the hydrologic shop to get the 3" O rings for the fuel pump housing. Highly recommend this for a buell.

This thing didn't last 4 years. . Cheap Chinese Junk!!

Installed on completely gummed up 2005 xb9sx after a thorough cleaning and it fired right up. I had early version pump and regulator fit perfectly as did pump prefilter. Be sure to get new o-rings where necessary and clean everything - fuel lines, rail, injectors, in line filter, low fuel sensor... do this job once and do it right.

Ok so the pump seems to be working hopefully for a long time because it’s was tad difficult to replace. If your using it on a buell order a extra gas straw hose you will need it this kit only has one... also they only give on size of female spade connectors and the pump has both the small size and the large male spades on it ( there is a lot of interference trying to get those stupid spade connectors slide on the pump it’s kid of an issue) might have to bend them a tad. Also be careful with the fuel pressure regulator housing those stupid tabs break I’m a sec ( stainless wire) 👍. Inexpensive and seems to do the trick take your time and you will get it back right with this kit 👍

I have a 2004 Buell XB12s. The kit fit perfectly fine. I used the larger inlet screen rather than the smaller one. Fuel pressure is right on 49 psi and the pump runs quiet.

Your part was supposed to fit this model, but the outlet of the fuel pump is for a later design and does not fit the earlier style on 2003-2004. Part had a broken spade connector from factory. Unusable and unable to return. Tried to contact Seller to return for refund and was asked if we wanted to buy a warranty. Not recommended for this model.

This is a good kit. It came fast. The fuel line that came with it was 1.5" longer than the stock one, so I reused the stock line. However when you go through all the headaches of removing this pump from your bike, you should know that there are 2 large O-rings that will probably need replaced. this kit does not include them. These o-rings are a 3' id and are 3/16" thick (part number p0121.02a8). Find them and buy them when you order your pump. The kit does include all the o-rings for the pump itself. Nobody wants their bike tore apart for an extra week waiting for $15 of o-rings. If you decide not to buy them, install the pump in your bike and throw some gas in it. Check for leaks, and then put the bike back together.
