Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Supplements Calming Care Cat Supplements - 30 ct. Box

We have two kitties, both with occasional stomach issues. We have been topping their food. With this Purina pro plan supplement for many years. They love the flavor and will gobble up their meal when this is on top of it. The calming care is a new discovery for us. I’m not sure if the boys calm down 100% but one of our kitties had been getting riled up lately with anxiety, so we thought that we would give this a try. I do believe it makes a difference. I do think that the calming care is worth the extra money.

This stuff works so well. My sweet 16-year-old kitty crossed the rainbow bridge a month ago. My 14-year-old kitty was with her his entire life. He has spent literally four weeks walking through the house meowing, day and night. The two of them didn’t even seem close, but apparently they loved each other more than I realized, because his grief has been so strong. He is very healthy, but has not been eating much since our other kitty died. I started putting a packet of this powder on his food each day, and he has calmed down and is eating well. He loves the taste and eats immediately when I sprinkle it into his bowl. He isn’t groggy at all, just calmer. It has no smell to me, but it must to him, because he sniffs at the pouch as I pour it. I will continue buying it. It’s a huge relief to see him eat and feel better. I highly, highly recommend it for any cat that has lost another pet, even if the two cats only just tolerate each other.

My elderly cat had started yowling for seemingly no reason. I took her to the vet but he said she was fine and elderly cats just do this sometimes. She was keeping us up half the night no matter what we did and we live in an apartment, so also worried that the neighbors would complain. We tried this and it worked like a charm, though it did take 6 weeks to fully kick in. We used it for months and then stopped buying it, thinking the problem was over, but some weeks later the yowling started back up again so now we have this on autoship and will use it the rest of her life, probably. She likes the taste, thankfully.

Their is a flavor to this powder but my cats seem to like it. I always mix it with a couple tablespoons of wet cathode, and usually only give half a packet when my cats seem agitated. I have used a full packet before transporting my semi-feral cat for a vet visit. It seems to take the edge off and mellows their behavior, they lick the bowl clean!

I saw a noticeable difference in my cat after just a week of using it everyday. I wouldn’t say it’s a cure all but it does work.
