E2E SATA to USB 3.0 Cable Adapter for 2.5" HDD SSD Support UASP SATA III (#5538)

This cable is amazing. Sturdy, long lasting, tight connection to the drive and fast transfer speeds ( one would hope with 3.0 hahaha).I am very happy with this and use it exclusively for my old laptop HD as a storage medium. I really don't know what else to say, its hard to write a detailed review like I normally do about a cable. No fraying, splits or cracks in the wire after extensive use either.~Pros - Long lasting, a perfectly designed cable, low profile for storage, very impressive transfer speed, no degradation, excellent price for such a long lasting item.~Cons - Really nothing comes to mind other than a bit of a stiff cable so it has to stay in place. It can only be used on smaller drives, not larger, desktop drives. ( I missed that when I got it, not the sellers fault, is mine)Go for it you'll love it!

I had to check to make sure this was a USB3 device. Transfer speed from a Samsung EVO 850 SSD was 39MB/s. Yes. THIRTY NINE MEGABYTES PER SECOND. Using my Apricorn cable, it was 383MB/s. Yes. Three hundred eighty three.Clearly, there's something wrong with this thing, or it's not up to the spec of USB 3.I'm sending it back and getting another Apricorn.

This very inexpensive USB 3.0 to SATA 3 cable worked very well. I used it to clone a laptop hard drive using Acronis cloning software. The clone went very fast compared to clones I have done using a 2.0 cable. Nothing super duty about the cable, but it looks like it should last for a while.

Worked perfectly to get files off of an old SATA HDD attached to the USB 3 port of my laptop.

Not compatible with S.M.A.R.T. data or the one I got is defective. People that gave this 5 stars must not know how important that is.

I had some hard drives from laptops that had previously died for reasons unrelated to the data (charge port broken, monitor broken, other similar issues). I pulled the drives and used this little beauty to easily power and connect to and salvage the data from all of my laptop drives! Definitely the best solution for accessing old hard drives easily and quickly!

Works great. Had an hard drive lying around that i wanted to clean and couldn't connect it internally. For the price, i can't really argue. Works great, reads and writes quickly, the cords a decent enough length. Recommended.

At first it didn't work. and I thought it must be a bad cable. It turned out that the SSD that I was trying to access was bad. So I got one from another PC that was good and it read it.
