Great Purchase
They were a great fit for my Genesis microphones and no struggle putting them on.

They DO FIT Shure SM58, Nov 2025.
I wanted to freshen up my Shure SM58 mic covers - some were dented, some had a little rust. I saw mixed reviews on here about fitting this mic or not so I just figured I'd try them out, no big deal. For anyone concerned about the Shure SM58, they replaced the original without any issues. The thread was fine, they are the same size, and IMHO look better in black. My 2 cents and check the pic - 2nd one shows this black one next to the original silver.

Did the job
Little disappointed, it wasn't round/ball, didn't match the original part and wasn't an exact fit. The threads were short and didn't cover all of the threads on the brand new SM58 microphone I purchase. It left some area exposed. However, after trying another ball, it worked.

Measure twice, buy one!!
They're well made but, did not fit my Shure wireless mics as the description suggested they would. The threads did not line up, nor was the collar wide enough to cover the threaded area.

As Advertised!
At first i thought it didn't fit but when I screwed it in reverse to get the threads set it went on nicely. Looks good! Fits my BLX Beta58 and my SLXD Beta58.

I don't know how useful it is for me to have 4 of these (until I drop the mic) but I replaced my rusted original SM58 grill with this one and it's a good fit. It doesn't seem to affect the sound negatively and the quality appears to be great so far. I love the look of the black ball and hopefully it'll be durable; quality seems on par with the original so I am confident.
