New wall art for crazy cat lovers: Le Chat Noir, museum quality giclee prints by Cat Artist Deborah Julian. Deborah Julian makes all of her own prints on archival Epson paper and signs each on the white border beneath the image or on the reverse. So, if you were out for a quiet stroll in Paris one night and suddenly saw your likeness plastered all over a kiosk, would you be surprised? Deborah created Chat Noir as an illustration for a book about two cats who smuggle their way into a trip to Paris. Travels With George: Paris is the story, told by George - with his insightful cat's eye point of view, of how he made a risky plan that got him and Billy to a place where neither had ever been before: outside! Before settling into a hotel in Le Marais, they didn't even know what a "Paris" was. They soon found out, however, and ended up being taken around Paris with their people, who - after getting over their shock - were happy to have them along. The most popular of Deborah's cat prints, Chat Noir comes from a chapter in which they've been taken for a walk after dinner along the Seine. When they climb back up to the Left Bank, they are startled by what they see in this kiosk. (*Giclée is the process for reproducing fine art images from a digital source, typically using 8-Color to 12-Color ink-jet printers. The quality of the Giclée print is excellent-superior in color and detail. Giclée prints are the standards found in museums and art galleries. Image quality for all cat prints is inspected and guaranteed by Deborah Julian.)
