Edexcel A Level Science: A2 Biology Students' Book with ActiveBook CD (Edexcel GCE Biology)

The book is detailed and well put together which is obviously a huge plus, however I find that Edexcel tends to include large sections of topics that you're only required to know very little about. If you stick by your specification this shouldn't bother you, but I know a lot of people who've crammed useless information they thought was important since it was covered in so much detail.Another downside is that they do not include ANY ANSWERS for the in topic and end of topic quesions. This can be really annoying when trying to do the questions and revising from then.Despite my complaints, I would recommend a copy if you are studying Edexcel biology as it does tend to explain conceps very thoroughly and keeps voccabulary nice and simple

It is an old version on the book, which I didn't realise. I think there are some bits of information that are not needed anymore, but I dont think anything is omitted.
