Anyway i would like to note that these movies are my favorite of all time and im a huge batman fan but nether the less ill be a unbiast as possible. Batman begins is the first in the trilogy(the clues is in the title), the synopsis consists of bruce wayne training in the mountains until he returns to gotham to fight crime as batsy. The movie is pretty flawless, however for the unfortuantely large section of modern day audiences who can only enjoy a movie whith none stop action may find the first hour or so of the film to slow.A great performance from christian bale and gary oldman impiticular but everyone in this film does a good job.Its an emmotional film with good action good acting great story telling and directing from chris nolan (the demigod who brought us this greatness) ,overall an absolotely brilliant film and the perfect introduction to a perfect trilogy. Now for the dark knight ,which is nothing short of a masterpeice ,the story takes places pretty soon after the end of batman begins ,gordon and batsy are working together to defeat the mob but it turns out that theres an even bigger bad ass who goes by the name "joker" perhaps youve heard of him?Basicaly for the remainder of the film joker runs around gotham causing anarchy and chaos ect and its up to batman to stop him. This film is great, amazing on so many levels, whith some of the most intense action ive ever seen!A shout out has to go to heath ledger(R.I.P) whos perfomance is just...there are no words "brilliant" wouldnt even scratch the surface ,i can not think of a more entertaining performance ever ,i suppose there arn't many roles out there that can compare to a role as crazy entertaining as the joker. The one problem of this film is that the joker is just to damn entertaining and you feel that as your watching this amazing film your just waiting for him to pop his face out ,the film as a whole is a master piece but never has there been a better example of someone stealing the show !Ide like to note that christian bales performance in this film is pretty tame in comparison to the other two films perhaps its just because ledgers performance is so amazing which is likely ,because christian bales a great actor (watch american psyco if you want comfirmation). The dark knight rises ....this film ,this film is the most epic film ive eveeeer seen ,i sat through this movie (opening day ide like to note) mouth wide open till the end ,the music will blow you away, the action will blow you away ,the acting will mesmerise you and bane will make you soil yourself .everyone in this film does there best work yet this is what the cinema was made for ,no film will ever compare to this in my opinion. the dark knights ending montage was amazing and inspiring, but its topped by the one in the dark knight rises ,unstopable films cant stress that enough 1.dark knight rises 2.dark knight 3.batman begins each one brilliant and if you aint seen em ,see em! i apoligize for the lack of punctuation and capital letters but i typed this up on my iphone so forgive me but other whise ide be her for a year. Review: Best trilogy ever - This is a product I've been waiting for ever since watching the final film, The Dark Knight Rises. To me it is simply one of the best ever trilogy's made and to have them all together in a nice blu ray box set is even better. They come in a nice fold out box, with 2 extra's discs both of which are full of brilliant content (especially the dark knight rises extras disc). Picture quality is great as expected and I played all 3 films on my new Sony surround sound system and they all sounded great. Only two negatives for the product, one is that the box set comes with a cheap piece of cardboard glued to the box set, however when I tried to peel it off it ripped 4 white wholes into the black box and ruined it. I told desertcart about this and they were brilliant as usual offering to replace it free of charge. The second negative is that a lot of The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises was shot using an IMAX camera (designed for giant 70ft wide cinema screens) because of this the screen changes a lot throughout each film between full screen to widescreen (letter box style) it can be slightly annoying but after a while you get use to it. Overall this box set is epic, I even sold my single copies of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight to have this box set instead and anyone who is a fan of the films will love this.

Best Trilogy since the original Star Wars Saga
Can't say enough good stuff about this box set. Really enjoyed Batman Begins, although I wasn't sure the first time I watched it, it grew on me a lot. Then when The Dark Knight came out, I was blown away. The Joker's character steals the show (and its a real shame Heath Ledger is no longer with us). I can't remember such a disturbed or disturbing 'baddie' since John Doe played by Kevin Spacey in Seven. In some ways the second film spoils it a bit for the third instalment The Dark Knight Rises as its a difficult act to follow. Bane didn't really do it for me and the film lacked enough actual Batman action for me, but that's not to say its not a great film, its just the The Dark Knight really stands out so much out of the trilogy. I really hope we see Christian Bale back as Batman along with Catwoman and the obviously hinted at Robin. Penguin as a the bad guy would be great seen through Nolan's eyes too.

Fantastic films! Packaging not so great!!!
Excellent trilogy, so I won't go into details with a synopsis of each film. My personal favourite being The Dark Knight. I feel that The Dark Night Rises wraps things up a little bit neatly. Anyway this is a great set, although the packaging leaves a lot be desired. The lack of spindles for 4 of the discs, meant that upon arrival from Amazon I had 2 rattlers inside the box, once the plastic film was removed, one of the discs fell onto my hard kitchen floor play side down. The other gripe I have is the useless piece of paper glued onto the set, I mean what is the purpose of this useless practise? Why not glue it to the outer cellophane wrap, therefore decreasing the damage to the outer box - Doh!! Also I have no idea why there is a polystyrene insert inside the set. This is really pointless, because once removed, you will never be able to replace the poly back in the box without losing the will to live. On the whole I like the set, shame about the loose discs, crumby paper glued to the box, and rather pathetic way of padding out the space where the book should have met. So 10/10 for the films. 10/10 for the book and finally 6/10 for the rather flimsy packaging.
