Cozy Apple Charging Cable, Tether (Glow in The Dark)

I just found these terrific adapters that enable me to buy any charging cord (I have purchased some nice cords for my Amazon Fire 8 and my Kindle Paperwhite at a fraction of the cost of the rip off "Apple Certified" garbage). They are small though and very easy to lose, kind of like the cap off a pen. These cozys are great to keep the adapter right where you need it. Right now I am vacillating between 3 stars and 4 stars because the reason I purchased THIS particular cozy was because of the glow in the dark feature. I even purchased a double pack that I found later so I had extras. The cozy itself DOES work as far as keeping the adapter from almost sure loss by me, BUT the glow in the dark DOES NOT work at all.....not even a little bit. Is there an on/off switch that I can't find? Hmmmmmmm I imagine that the photo off the product page was photoshopped because that is the exact opposite of what result I got. I am a bit of a consumer advocate and I really hate it when it is so untruthfully marketed. Hence the 3 stars I am giving it. You might be saying, "Why not return it?" But it really won't be worth the trouble to return such a small item (s). It is just better to tell others how the product does/does not work. If this was an electrical item, you could assume that maybe that was just the bad item of the thousands manufactured and you were the lucky one to get it. With this item it either glows in the dark or it doesn't, and since there is nothing electronic, the selling point of the cozy is NOT THERE! You can always order it anyway and hope for the best and I will bet you believe in the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy too. You would be better off paying less for one that DOESN'T glow in the dark. But it might just be better to order it for the actual function of the cozy which DOES WORK and forget about the glow in the dark feature. So I have now decided on 4 stars since it does what it says it does, by keeping your adaptor safe from loss, which I know would have cost me a fortune in replacements. Maybe my directions for turning on the "Glow In The Dark" feature were so tiny I lost them! Oh well.........😋

This lightning cozy does the trick of keeping the little adapter together with the microUSB cord that I have. However, I have a Lifeproof fre case on my phone, which means that the charging port is much more recessed than normal. The cable + cozy plugs in just fine.But the problem comes when I try to unplug the cable. Pulling on the cord simply takes the adapter off the microUSB (pulling the cozy off with it). Which leaves me with the little nub of the adapter sitting in my phone, very difficult to remove.So, it may not be great depending on the case you have over your phone (and in my case, given how often I drop my phone, the case is indispensable).

I have a few charges of this brand. This one is bad a little different. It broke in a week. Disappointed. I bought it a few months ago but gave it to my kid for a bday gift. It did not hold up like the others at allI hope I get a replacement.

One android phone and one iphone in this house and this helps us get along. As others have stated this barely glows in the dark. Since it is the same price as the normal I an not knocking it too much, just disappointed. The function of the device is perfect, if not a little expensive for what it is. Better to buy this than to keep needing to buy adapters due to loss. this will not work properly on flat usb cables.

Does what it says - fits nicely and glows. Mostly this is a useless, silly item. In my household this Lightening cords are a hot commodity. Using this one item to identify that the cord it is on is Mom's - and no messing with Mom's cord or trouble!

This is a good product and I have to carry one less cable with my external battery charger. It is a bit overpriced compared to the qulaity of the product and also it doesn't glow as advsertized. It still would hold the lightening adapter in place.

I've had my glow in the dark one for almost a year now. It is still looking as good as it did when I first got it. I have found the glow in the dark part to be actually useful (I didn't buy it for the glowing aspect only for its use as a tether). It has helped me locate my car charger in a dark car on more than one occasion. Allows me to keep one charger in the car that I can use on most of my devices instead have my console filled with extra cords.

So so. it definitely lights up. but sort of a waste.
