brilliant concept
I bought these frames for my sons bedroom - he is 18, and I didnt really want the standard Manhatten skyline pictures everywhere. He has always like the cover of some of our old LPs - so I started looking for a frame for them. Most of us with teenage kids have a loft full of old LPs!!! The other frames have smaller surrounds, and are so final - you put your LP in and thats in - but with these you can swap and change the inserts. There are loads he likes, so its ideal for him. They are so easy to put up - says me who just pointed where they had to go!! But they look really brilliant on the wall. So easy to change the inserts - he has changed them round already. My only wish for this product is that they did them for a single as well. I have had to use a standard frame for the singles - and they dont look half as good. I know they are expensive, and I 'ummed and ahhed' for ages about spending that much - but they really are worth the money - a quality products that is very easy to use - definitely recommend to anyone!!

Brilliant Frames
I recently went for a rummage through my parents lp collection and found a load of old records that I had bought on cd. I thought that the album artwork was very interesting and wanted to display it. I bought some cheaper frames which were alright when I only had a few records but once the record was in the frame is was quite a big deal to take it out and change it. Enter Play and Display. The frames are perfect because, not only is it very easy to change the record, you can also store up to 3 records in the frame at any time which saves on storage space. The frames themselves look very nice and smart and are incredibly easy to put up. (not that I put them up myself; my Dad's a DIY freak so he was more than happy to help) You can arrange the three frames to look very nice on the wall and I am just about the order three more to put above the ones I currently have. The service is very good as well. The frames arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. Update: The next load of frames have arrived. Once again they arrived early and in perfect condition. Perfect.

Surprisingly worth the money
I bought these in a rash moment, and actually bought three boxes which was extra rash! I was kind of nervous before they arrived - I have been stung before by overpriced crap. These are, if we're being totally honest, a bit overpriced. But they are well made, they don't look cheap when hung, the fittings all work as expected and they generally look pretty good. I especially like the ability to quickly switch records in and out. It is as simple as the product blurb says. One button, flip out and change. The ability keep the record in the frame (the back is deep enough to hold a double, but sprung so single albums don't look loose) is great too, saves having to find somewhere to keep the discs when you frame the covers.

They rock baby!!!!!!
I love the artwork on vinyl records, some are simple but no less iconic to fans of these albums. The art vinyl play & display record frames are perfect for this purpose. I do not agree with others that they are too expensive & cheap looking, In my opinion they are the best item to display your vinyl collection which is on the Market so I am happy to pay the going rate. Over the years I have purchased 23!!!!! Mixed in white & black & they now proudly display my old vinyl records of Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Zz Top, AC/DC, Purple, Zep, Whitesnake & more. I even purchased Buffy the vampire Slayer 'once more with feeling' soundtrack cos I love the Show & the artwork but will never play it.! They are soooo easy to fit & are easy to replace the album displayed if you want a change. Plus they look pretty cool baby.

Neat, and stylish too
Recently bought a second one of these - one at home, one at work. It is easy to swap record sleeves, and the mount covers only a tiny amount of outer edge. So nearly the whole sleeve is visible, protected by a transparent and hardly reflective surface; and offset by the black 2.5 cm/1 inch black border. The border works, it's non-intrusive and frames in a rather stylish way. Yes, the mount is plastic, but it is dull matt and looks fine, even classy. The whole mount is about a centimetre (5/12 of an inch, for the metrically challenged) thick, so looks like a cool painting frame - records get the art treatment they deserve! I've digitized my whole record collection, but I wouldn't want to miss my beloved LP covers - and this is the best way to put them up on the wall. It's not cheap, but it looks great. Recommended.

clever design, overpriced
These are cleverly designed and ideal for displaying record sleeves. They can be quickly opened to remove the record for playing or changing. But ultimately they are two pieces of un-finished plastic with a clear insert front. They look cheap and don't do justice to the record you want to display. At half the price this may be OK, at £40, they are disappointing. They mount to the wall by a single screw being placed through the centre rear. The plastic design means the units flex and don't sit very well on the wall. It is worth noting that they do not work well for displaying picture discs in their clear sleeves as they are a little smaller than card ones and slip down the inside of the frame slightly. Given the lack of alternatives they are worth a shot but don't expect them to look like what they cost.

Can’t fault this product
I was introduced to this product years ago. The price has not changed in years. Easy to install, drill a hole, you are supplied with a rawl plug, small clear plastic washer and a screw nail. Put the front on and you are ready to go. Sealed double vinyl will be too thick for the frame, but just the cover will be fine. Sealed single albums, 12” singles, no problem at all. Brilliant product, just change the album any time you want.

I was hoping to find a frame that could meet the following requirements: -hang with one nail on the wall -can swap out vinyl discs whenever I fancied -provide UV protection for the artwork -preferably glass or high quality, scratch free plastic pane Luckily this frame was able to fulfill all the requirements. The only down side is that the pane is plastic and not glass. But given that you can hang this frame with one nail on the wall, you would need to use lightweight material to accomplish this. The frame uses good quality materials, seems well designed and thought out. I especially love the fact that I can easily swap out the disc on display to another without having to disassemble the frame or even remove it from the wall altogether. The front pane slides up and forward to allow space to pull the current disc on display and easily slide another in place. The worst part of this frame is the price, but you get what you pay for. I bought a few frames before landing on this one and this is the one that I liked best.

The frames are made from sturdy plastic and can easily be either separated in two pieces or in the opened stage where you can swap the record. They use a single screw in the middle, I would’ve preferred two to prevent movement. Although there is enough room to use two screws underneath each other, so it is no big deal. Once a record is in they look great and swapping record takes maybe 15 seconds. They seem well protected inside. Knowing the records are UV protected is a plus.

I bought this product to hang my favourite records and have been hanging it on my white wall for about 2 months. When I decided to take them off the wall, I found that they left dark stains on my wall from the black rubber at the back of the frame. It is a major design flaw, most walls are white.

Well packaged and sturdy product. You can rest assured that your vinyl art will be well protected with this. I collect signed vinyl so the UV protection is a must. If I can think of one thing which I don’t like, it’s that the colour is off white and it makes the frame look a little cheap and plasticy. It would have been amazing if the colour was a high gloss bright white
