Good, well made piece of kit.
If you like to keep your Garmin Etrex (latest series, not original models) GPS unit clipped on your belt or rucksack strap, then you'll find this clip well worth the money. It is well made, feels robust, the spring loading is just right - feels like it will keep your precious GPS clipped in place, but also light enough for you to be able to clip & unclip it without trouble (even with cold hands). It clips onto the Etrex unit with satisfying precision & a firm click, giving you confidence that it's not going to come off when subjected to the rigours of the great outdoors.Note: putting the clip on the back of the GPS does obscure access to the battery compartment (and micro SD card, if you're lucky enough to have one), but removing the clip is not too difficult, if required.

Useful for rucksack mount
Have purchased two of these to mount a Garmin inReach mini and a Garmin Oregon to a rucksack strap.Secure, although do have a safety line added.Easy to remove unit one-handed.

Easy to fit and very secure. The kind of clip that should have been included with the GPS from new

Very useful when going for a walk
It's good belt attachment unit. It does make my Garmin eTrex 32x unit a little bigger when it is attached, but it is really convenient to be able to clip the unit to your belt when you are out and about on a walk. It's quick and easy to unclip the unit from your belt so you can check if you are still on the right course. Definitely happy I bought mine.

Works fine but why is it a separate purchase?
It works. But it should be in the box when you buy a Garmin, not an £8 extra purchase.

Seems fine. I panicked a bit when I first put it on my etrex 30x as I couldn't see how to remove it. But it's easy when you know how. You just slightly lift the lower part of the clip from the unit. You shouldn't need to force it. I intend to clip it to my rucksack and use of a lanyard as an extra safety measure.
