Leo the Snow Leopard

Thank you for the interesting story about Leo the Snow Leopard, who was rescued by a farmer and cared for by the family until he can get care from Kamal, his caretaker up to being transferred to a zoo in USA. Here Leo met a female snow leopard Shelby and he learned from her on how to be a snow leopard. For he was around people so much that he thought he was a person. I just loved this story!

My grand niece told me her favorite animal was the snow leopard. Well, it happens to be mine as well. She is a first grader who will love learning from this book. She already shows that she is brave enough to trek the Himalayas. maybe someday we will see them in the wild. Or I will take her to the San Diego Zoo.

Nice hardcover book. Great story of human efforts to save an endangered animal. I was worried my 6 yr old wouldn't like it because it isn't a typical children's book story, but she loved it! This is a true story with real pictures of Leo and those that helped him.

This book was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old grandson. His favorite animal is a snow leopard and he was so excited to read about Leo the Snow Leopard.

Can't wait for the reaction of the little girl I purchased for...she is obsessed with the plight of the snow leopard and she is only 6.!

My son is a huge fan of anything snow leopard...this book did not disappoint.
