Sadly I can only give this product one star as it developed a fault within about 5 minutes of being switched on.I already have a couple of portable bluetooth speakers, a Bose Soundlink Color (the first version rather than the current model), which I am pleased with, and a tiny, cheap and cheerful, mono speaker from Tesco. What I wanted was a stereo speaker that would sit on my desk in the space under my PC monitor (the Bose is too big to do this), has a socket for wired audio, and reasonable audio quality. When I saw this VeFly speaker, with mostly good reviews, as a "lightning deal" for £11.99 I decided to order it.On unboxing the speaker seemed solid and fairly well made, with a reasonable amount of weight to it, and it fitted perfectly into the space I bought it for. The manual, if you can call it that, consisted of a few brief instructions on a piece of card very like a bookmark. After charging I switched the speaker on, it announced it was in "bluetooth mode" in a female voice, then I plugged my media player into the 3.5mm Aux socket. The speaker announced "A-U-X mode" and I started listening to music. Disappointingly, there was very little bass, which for a speaker listed as "Passive subwoofer inside delivers outstanding bass" "enhanced bass from our proprietary passive bass radiator design" " louder volume and richer Bass than Other competitors" wasn't impressive. Otherwise the sound was clear and pleasant, without noticeable noise, but lacking detail.After listening to sections of three tracks the speaker announced "bluetooth mode", and the music stopped. From this point on, nothing I could do would induce the speaker to work with the 3.5mm connection, pressing the M button only switched between bluetooth and fm modes, switching the speaker off and on, or plugging and unplugging cable, did nothing, and neither did using a different lead or audio source. I did successfully connect the the speaker via bluetooth to my tablet and it worked, but did not test the fm radio function.As I require a speaker with a working wired audio connection I have returned this product to Amazon for a refund. I would say that I don't expect high fidelity sound from a speaker as small and cheap as this, even the Bose, at a much higher price, cannot manage this, it does however deliver plenty of bass and the "room filling sound" that the VeFly claims, but lacks. Of course it is possible that the speaker I received was also faulty in some way that affected the sound.

First of all don't go expecting this to have the best sound in the world and blow your mind, it is not going to. It has multiple connections, a decent battery and is useful for being in the garden when you are working, or away camping and listening to music with the family

Amazing sound and really recommend this speaker!

Ordered for my 10 year old - he loves it! Great size as not to big. Quality is good for the value of money - Not great with base sound when at the highest volume. Volume is controlled by the phone, laptop, computer etc. And not too load that I have to listen to his music in the whole house!

Good sound quality considering size and cost of speaker. Radio mode isn't great but not bothered. That might be the area I live in, or perhaps extending the aerial using another USB lead might help. My bluetooth failed (not the speakers fault), so am using this wired, that works just fine.

Great little unit, good sound and the bass is okay.I would definitely buy again use it why I am out in the garden or even why I Cooking.Battery last a long time too.
