Metal or plastic cash drawer?

I returned this register. They give you a discount. I have no way of reading a disc. No online instructions. I spent an hour with the one sheet they provided to program it. Could not do it. Couldn't figure out how to get an X reading.

Unuseable

No electrical cord for the machine and no keys for the drawer came with the shipment. By the time I checked, it was too late to return. Very disappointed.
