Good for the price
These are good for light practice and for display. For the price they are good.

Stock photo may be inaccurate. See review!
Stock picture is inaccurate as far as the handle material. I have used a set of the ones pictured in the stock photo (at the time of this review) with the same plastic, twisty tie like handle material and what I received on this order is a much greater improvement. The material on these handles are synthetic leather strip with a gold rope inlay. This "pleather" material feels really nice like actual leather and is of a good thickness. The thin gold rope shines well but no flaking glitter like debris. The black finish is nice and smooth all the way around. The butt on one handle is slightly off possibly due to being hand crafted. This is the reason I dropped a star. Overall, I say this is a great fully functioning display item at a good value for the price.

Good for practice/Kata
I don't have any good weapons grade Sais to compare these to, but I do have some other practice/Kata grade ones like these and I prefer these. The fake leather grip is soft and feels good in hand and they feel heavy and substantial in hand. For practice and Katas, my only use case, they work great!. Nobody is going to confuse these for a nice set or a real Sai, but they are durable, look fine for what they are, and they fit the purpose i need them for.

Weight feels good
It is a bit narrow- for big hands people who are trying to spin it is not easy. Very good starter set.

Amazing Value
I love these sais, I was surprised when they arrived. They are constructed well, they are metal and look great. The weight is balanced. The wrapping on the handles is nice and very attractive. I was surprised that they are life size and made very well. Wonderful value for the set of Sais.

Sai
These sai are a solid display piece for anyone into martial arts or just looking to add some flair to the wall. The chrome finish is shiny and the black/gold handle looks sharp up close. They’re surprisingly hefty for the price, though obviously not meant for actual combat training—think cosplay or décor, not sparring. The plastic on the handle can feel a little slippery if your hands get sweaty, but for practice forms or just showing off, they’re more than fine. Honestly, these would be relatively functional in a battle with Bebop and Rocksteady. Sai are not meant to be sharp, so if you don't know anything about them and you get them and they're blunted, that's on purpose and how they're supposed to be. Sharp sai aren't real sai. These are more authentic.

Questionable wrap but otherwise they should be great!
Like other reviewers, I simply can't do this without referencing one of my favorite ninja turtles; Raphael. When every other weapon is commonplace, he stuck with the Sai's, which are not only obscure, but more of a defense weapon than say a sharp sword. So are these Raphael approved? Well, your hands would struggle if they were that big, but for us humans, they should work just fine. They appear to be one solid piece each, unless the tape is hiding something. They aren't sharp, but in what I've read, this is more of a misnomer for them to be sharp as they are more for deflecting. They do seem to be well-balanced and in most regards; high-quality. The one area I do feel shows signs of low quality however would be the tape/wrap around the handle. It's somewhat of a faux leather, and I would imagine it will break off or come unraveled should these be used heavily. Now, that's just my interpretation, and you could wrap an additional protective layer over these wraps, but it's my one knock on the product. Otherwise, I think these are likely a great set of Sai's leaving me to next find a good quality sword, bo-staff, nun-chucks, and some turtles. At least I'm part-way there! PS: There do NOT have a chrome finish at all. They're strictly black.
