Kama Sutra: (Penguin Classics Deluxe Edition)

Bought as a gift. Well received and immediately delved into. Having read the reviews, I was aware that the artwork is cover only. Although that is a pity as my friend loves it, she plans to research the artist, and as someone who has worked in publishing, she told me that this type of Penguin book is normally expensive. So, we are delighted I found a copy on Warehouse Deals at a very good price.

I bought this book for the beautiful illustrations by Malika Favre (see cover). She recently displayed her Kama Sutra alphabet at an illustrators show and i loved it. The book doesn't have any images inside it though.Aside from not being what i expected, the book itself was poorly made. There had obviously been some kind of problem at the publishers as almost every page was torn down the edge.The book wasn't wrapped in plastic so i was mostly annoyed the staff at Amazon had sent me a visibly sub-standard item. I got a refund.

I ordered it specifically for the illustrations. It should make this clear in the description because it seems that several people have also made the same comment. It does have beautiful deckled pages though

No illustrations, poorly put together, clearly a hack job.Don't waste your money - buy elsewhere. Can only blame myself.

The book was interesting, but not what I was expecting, I was expecting to see illustrations, but there were none.

fast delivery, but not happy how the product arrived. The spine of the book is damaged and as it is a classics deluxe edition I want to keep it in perfect condition as a collectors item

Beautifully illustrated nice modern design for a very well know classic.

cometi o grande erro de não ler as avaliações antes, sem as ilustrações da malika favre e totalmente mal refilado, vários tufos de papel de vários tamanhos.

The media could not be loaded.  Las hojas están mal cortadas es de mala calidad.

Onestamente avevo comprato il libro perchè pensavo ci fossero all’interno le meravigliosi illustrazioni di Malika Favre ma purtroppo c’è solo il testo (unica parte illustrata). Il libro comunque è molto bello e ben spiegato, interamente in lingua inglese ovviamente
