The Eclipse - Contemporary Style LED Tripod Floor Lamp for Reading in Bedroom, Living Room, Or Office

Modern, unique, simple, streamlined -- good but not great. I have this in a corner to light up a dark corner toward a painting. Works beautifully for that. In my opinion would be too dark for a reading light. it has a slim frame all metal and feels reasonably sturdy. It's not beefy as I had expected. Light can be swiveled and directed wherever -- such as down or up toward a wall.One part of the lamp has a totally stupid design with the on/off switch hanging in the middle of the lamp versus down on the floor. Bugs me every time I look at it - very poor design and interferes with slim look. Why would they do that? Argh. Well, I kept the lamp and am okay with it as a lamp for the corner as reasonably unique and modern clean, a bit edgy. This lamp looks cool but does not light up a room very much. I have a small living room with no ceiling fixtures and bought it to light up the other half of the room where there is not already a lamp. it is not even as bright as 1 10W LED bulb that I have in the other lamp. Only buy this if you want ambient lighting that is not necessary for you to read by and if you like a dark room. This lamp is exactly what I expected it to be. The look is clean and simple, the light illuminates the room exactly as I expected, and the style is cool yet a little quirky. The reason for four stars rather than five is simply the power cord. I do not like that it hangs down the middle of the lamp from the top of the tripod rather than from the bottom where it can easily be hidden. In my case, I simply wrapped the cord around one leg and used black tubing (the kind you use to hide computer cords) to secure the power cord to the lamp leg and it seems to work just fine. This lamp is not a high-end display piece so I didn't expect it to look like one, but I would have preferred the power cord attached a different way.

This is such a cool lamp! Especially for the price, I would recommend purchasing. I was worried with the lighting, possibly being too bright, but it isn’t overwhelming at all! Everyone who sees this lamp has found it to be so unique. (Definitely is a center piece!)If I could change one thing, I would have the cord somehow attached. I wrapped the cord around the lamp legs to avoid it just hanging there. I will add a picture for reference.

I connected mine to a smart outlet and now can turn on through my home app. Very happy. Perfect for someone who constantly moves apartments as it easily dissambles and isn’t heavy but looks really nice.

Not especially bright and I ended up running the wire down a leg and attaching it with little black wire ties as the dangling cable is not attractive. Interesting piece though.

This lamp is so cool. I wanted a floor lamp to look like a moon against a mountain mural, and this worked out perfectly.

Interesting and simple.... Lets see how long it lasts.
