Genuine Shimano quality with excellent braking performance
These are exactly what I expect from genuine Shimano brake pads. Installation was straightforward, and they came with the spring and retaining pin, making the replacement quick and hassle-free. Braking performance is excellent with strong, consistent stopping power and good modulation. The metal compound inspires confidence on long descents and in wet conditions, and the cooling fins do a great job of helping manage heat during extended braking. Fit and finish are top-notch, and they worked perfectly with my Shimano brakes. If you’re looking for reliable, long-lasting brake pads that deliver consistent performance ride after ride, these are an easy five-star recommendation.

Great pads
I try other pads just as alternatives, but I keep coming back to these for absolute stopping power. These pads bed in quickly and then they just work. I run the metallic on the front and resin in the rear.

Amazing stopping power and lasts well
I go back and forth between the J03A Resin and the J04A Metal pads. I prefer the J04A and don't mind replacing the rotors occasionally. The J04A last longer and have better braking power. The noise isn't consistently bad, but I have had them be noisy. I think it's worth the extra money for the J04A.

Great product for mountain biker to use. It always meet my expectation.
Product is exceptional. It's working very well. This is definitely my go-to brand and product for my mounatin bike. That extra fin did work well to dissipate the heat generated by braking. Strongly suggested for M8000 user. The most important part is it's quiet.
