ARBORDOUN - Calendula Cream 7 OZ

I keep buying this because nothing works better at solving even the driest skin

I had surgery on my arms, knee replacements and have the usual ugly scars associated with the surgeries. My knees are quite stiff in the morning and late in the day. I read about this product on a knee replacement patient blog so I thought I'd give it a try. It is a bit greasy and a very small amount goes a long way. Notice I did not say 'too greasy.' I rub it in pretty well on my arms, elbows and knee scars at night and the skin feels so much better especially in the mornings and my legs are less stiff. It is visibly reducing the scars faster and better than scar jell and has a light, pleasant: minty, herbal, almost menthol scent. It is absorbed in a few minutes. The skin feels a little greasy for maybe five minutes but it does not stain the bed linens. I thought it felt too greasy and did not absorb well on my hands and feet so It gets a 4 stars instead of 5. However I would recommend it for use in any areas that are stiff and scarred from a surgery or accident.

This stuff was a life saver for me. I'm not sure if I would use it normally, but for what I needed it was great. I was going through radiation therapy and my skin was the color of an over-ripe strawberry and felt like I had fallen into hot coals. This stuff soothed my sore skin and allowed me to finish my treatments.Other things that had been recommended didn't feel soothing and frankly didn't do a thing. The only other product that worked was Dr. Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I know this sounds really weird. However, this was the only thing that helped my son's little bottom when he was a baby. I'd used it ever since for burns, bug bites, etc. This too felt soothing, but the white goop gets on everything. The original ingrediants (ingrediants no longer include peruvian balsam and calendula) had included some of the same things in Arbordoun (without the zinc oxide). That's how I searched and found Arbordoun.I am glad I did and would certainly recommend for anyone that has burned or irritated skin. The only downside is that the oils in this will stain clothes. I used camisoles underneath to protect my clothing.

Been using Arbordoun's cream for about 10 years since discovering it at my local healthfood store, the Co-op. I love that they've switched from plastic containters to beautiful brown glass jars (not the jar in the photo but much nicer and more sustainable). Happy to support this woman-owned and woman-run small business based on a calendula farm on a small island off Seattle. This cream is reliable, always same consistency. Very rich but absorbs well into the skin. For all over body but great as a night time face cream if you have very thirsty skin. Nice light & natural scent.

This is the best moisturizing cream ever made. For facial use, you'll want to put it on at night before you go to bed. When you wake up in the morning, your skin will look smooth, supple, and "calm." It has soothing qualities that get rid of redness or blotchiness. I've actually started using this as a body moisturizer as well. Winter is horrible on my skin. This cream gets rid of all the dryness and, I swear, my skin looks 20 years younger. This is the best!

Going through cancer, I was told to get Calendula cream to help lessen the side effects of radiation. Instead of buying the store bought junk that has several additives, I chose a product that I could pronounce all the ingredients and knew what they were. I’m glad I chose this product. Unfortunately when I received my product, the cap was broken but the seal was still tight, so I decided to use it. Glad I made that choice.

I have tried a lot of different body creams trying to overcome lizard skin on my legs, just dried out like the rest of me, I guess. This stuff does the job. Very little scent, but applies smoothly and evenly and absorbs into the skin in a short time, leaving softness and the appearance of smooth skin. This is good stuff. I will re-order. Thank you!
