Can my pet dog crawl under it, they are 3 lbs each

I dont think so, we have cats and they dont go under it but around it. It looks like it has about 2 1/2 inches clearance under the divider. Hope that answers what you need to know.

Can it be used outside? Can it be rain and sun resistant?

It is very light made out of a nylon ribbon typed weave. It worked well for dividing a bedroom between two beds. But outside I believe is would blow over easy and fade quickly. I also think the weave would become rained soak, I don't see it shed water. But it is a very good product for the price for inside.

Can light pass through the panels or is it thick enough that it blocks light?

Very little light passes through . It doesn’t completely block the light as you can see through where the panels are connected .

What type of material is this made out of?

The information provided to me says ,it's made out of poplar wood and pp straps,but I'm not exactly sure what the pp is, just that it appears to be a type of plastic.I hope this is helpful...
