Casio fx-85GTCW Black Scientific Calculator

This is an excellent scientific calculator from a trusted brand. The buttons are clearly labelled and responsive, and the display is easy to read. It includes the functions required for secondary-school maths while still being straightforward enough for a student to learn and use confidently. The protective cover helps prevent damage while it is being carried in a school bag, and the mint-green colour makes it easy to distinguish from other calculators in the classroom. A reliable and practical purchase that should last throughout the school years.

Good calculator and was reasonable priced. Clear and easy to use, recommended by the school.

Glad I opted for the solar edition. The blue is a really nice alternative to black and my school age son agrees it’s quirky. Like most scientific calculators, there’s a button for everything you’ve heard of and then a load for functions you never will. I quite like the large clear display with the icons. The buttons feel less solid; perhaps due to recycled material used. We have to see if this proves to be flimsy. Turning the thing off was less than intuitive, although this has an auto off function and solar. So maybe unnecessary.Overall I’m happy with this and feel it will be useful for my son’s school studies without looking too childish.

I brought this because I am studying for an electrical course and needed a good scientific calculator I was allowed to take into exams. I did alot of research and this was recommended quite a few sites.Without doubt it's feels like one of the easier calculators to use. Screen clarity is good and has a bunch of options as well to help adjust to needs. The quality is great the hard case protects the calculator and mine is as good a year old on etc. Battery is faultless no issues and it has solar point anyway. Great value for money and as shown the functionality is great as can change how data is given. If I had to complain about anything when it's new you may find yourself on casino site to see how to do whatever function if can't work out however the guide is good there and a quick Google will find someone has a video somewhere because it's a good product and people have invested in it.

I bought this for general maths/science use and it’s been spot on so far.The buttons feel responsive, the screen is clear, and it does everything you’d expect without being confusing.Ideal if you want something dependable that just works.✅ Pros✅ Clear display that’s easy to read✅ Buttons feel solid and not “mushy”✅ Straightforward layout, easy to use even if you’re not a maths genius✅ Great for school/college and revision✅ Battery life seems strong so far❌ Cons❌ Takes a bit of getting used to if you’re coming from a different Casio model❌ Not the cheapest option, but you’re paying for reliability

Quick delivery and perfect for my son for college

Son loves this, case is useful. Display size is suitable, colour is fine. Looks good and he loves using it. He is very happy he is finally allowed a calculator at school! Great enjoyment!

Great, good value, needed for school, great and good battery life. Lovely colour.. good size. plus it’s Casio

Pour moi, c'est la meilleure calculatrice pour le collège : rien de trop, rien ne manque. La gestion de la période d'un développement décimal illimité est un plus pour les matheux.

Muy útil para el instituto

This Texas Instruments calculator is the third one I have purchased on Amazon from the same seller. After 2 to 3 months, the first two stopped charging and kept turning on and off constantly, while the third one shows “error” as soon as I perform a calculation like 8+2. We would like a refund or an exchange.

The older model fx-85GT x has store and recall functions. This model does not. Also division output is not very handy.

Alle Funktionen, die man so braucht.
