For such an exquisite piece of work, this price is a bargain. A great artist, awesome book, & Taschen do exemplary work. i have their Manly P Hall baby sumo 1st edition of Secrets from all ages, & its what you would expect from Taschen, just a different level. I also highly recommend their 2016 XL 1st edition of William Blake's work on Dante's Inferno, another classic lol. This company is breaking my bank lol, but im happy.

This book is truly magnificent! It is huge, beautifully packaged; as someone said, there are not many pages, but the paper is very heavy and thick. The reproductions are beautiful, and the size means that details are much easier to see. The text is very informative. There are other many more detailed reviews for this book, so there is not much more to be said, other than to recommend it highly. Don't be daunted by the price - I don't know many books of this size and quality at this price! Well done Taschen.

This is a very weighty tome with fold outs and the smaller details of these incredible paintings are reproduced in large size. The accompanying text is lucid and extensive. A very lavish book and well worth the price. Worth saving up for!

This is an awesome volume with Bosch's oeuvre. There exist plenty of photos for various paintings and each one is accompanied with descriptions and analysis. However some texts are rather short (for instance the description for "The Temptation of St. Anthony" and "The Last Judgement" could be lengthier) - the number of blank pages gives the impression that the author didn't know what else to write. Additional details of the paintings and a lengthier analysis would make this volume even better.

As with every book I have bought from this publisher, the quality is staggering. To understand Bosch, you need detail in the reproductions and that is where this volume scores. Even seeing the works in the flesh, gallery security means you will never be able to get as close to the art-works, as you can in this book. If you are serious about Bosch – it’s a must.

Best Bosch book I have so far. Note the actual dimensions are wrong on Amazon and in fact match what is on the Taschen website: 29 x 39.5 cm. The box itself doesn't add much more to the size. It was shipped in a box way too big but it appears to have survived ok, thanks to being in its own cardboard box.

I didn’t expect it to be so XL 😂 it’s even better than the photo. The font used, the details of the book and the ever-so-famous masterpiece right in the center of the book… I’m obsessed. It’s definitely worth the price. Bosch was also a religious figure if im not mistaken hence that lifestyle inspiring his work. I’m Christian so this book makes you see A LOT. Again, well worth it.
