Does what it says

This item is perfect for resting the lid on but be careful to attach it at one of the 3 foot rests so that it doesn’t tip over. Excellent as we didn’t have much space on the table and it saves having to rest it on the ground. Definitely recommend.

Item arrived on time and as described.

Very easy to fix to the side of the cobb base unit to store the lid while checking on the food.

The lid holder does what is says, gives you a place to put the lid without putting on the floor etc. The real bonus is you can now use the lid as a wind break. Two for one, magic.

Awkward to fit into cobb when packing but great otherwise

I thought it would be like the Weber holder that holds the lid get well.....this in comparison is very poor, doesn't really work as it falls out of the Cobb. Nice idea but very poor execution, just easier to put the lid on the floor!

Ero molto indeciso sull'acquisto, poiché non lo ritenevo fondamentale, ma invece mi sbagliavo. E' assolutamente indispensabile per chi utilizza il Cobb: durante le varie fasi di cottura, il coperchio del Cobb è praticamente impossibile da sfiorare tanto è caldo; quando lo si alza per verificare la cottura del cibo o per toglierlo, è sempre necessario appoggiarlo da qualche parte e il posto più idoneo è proprio il suo porta-coperchio annesso al Cobb. Il manico del coperchio si inserisce facilmente in questo dispositivo e altrettanto facilmente si rimuove. E' impossibile scottarsi e io l'ho sempre utilizzato senza guanti o presine, spesso non disponibili all'aperto. Consenga perfetta. Lo consiglio.

wohin mit dem heißen Deckel? Kleines, sehr nützliches Zubehör von Cobb. Gekauft und immer im Einsatz. Nimmt keinen Platz weg, passt in den Deckel und dann in die Tasche. Der heiße Deckel ist somit immer an einem sicheren Platz - nämlich im Deckelhalter.

Ist ein original Teil also passt supie..!

Eigentlich ist der Deckelhalter für einen Cobb gedacht der einen Knopf auf dem Deckel hat und nicht einen Bügel. Trotzdem liegt der Deckel mehr oder weniger sicher auf.Insgesamt könnte die recht wackelige Konstruktion überarbeitet werden. Der Draht mit ca. 2 mm Durchmesser wird einfach an der Seite in ca. 4 mm breite Ausparrungen gesteckt daher ist das ganze recht instabil.

Mann sollte den Halter immer direkt an über einer Seite einhängen, wo sich einer der drei Standfüße befindet, sonst kann es passieren, dass der Grill "kippelt" bzw. sich anhebt durch die "Umwucht".Ansonsten aber ganz ok - man muss jedoch vorsichtig den Deckel einhaken/herausnehmen, sonst zieht man den halter schnell mal mit raus.
