This is my favorite general purpose filament. It prints easily and well. The resulting parts are surprisingly tough. I have used it in a variety of printers including Prusa and Bambu for years now. Note that this now comes on cardboard spools, and require adapter rings to use in the Bambu AMS. The one problem I have had with this filament is that if it is left under stress between prints for a day, it tends to break into pieces. This seems to depend very much on the local humidity. I see this problem in Seattle but not Toronto. I've learned to manage it by keeping the bend radius high on my feeder tubes.

At first, I was getting a TON of stringing when printing anything. The actual print would come out great, but stringing everywhere. I looked on some forums, and many suggest certain retraction settings, temp changes, etc. No luck. Then someone recommended checking eSun's website for possible filament settings recommendations. What do you know, they had exactly that! They also had a packet filled with presets you could download! Now my slicer has all of the eSun filament settings a click away! eSun is killing it!!! I messed with a few settings, selected their Matte presets, and BOOM. NO MORE STRINGING! This filament is amazing and I will continue to use it for painted projects!!

So far I have had absolutely no issues with eSUN PLA. This roll and color is no exception. The color always comes out very vibrant and print quality is top notch. I do love that these are on a cardboard spool so and the center diameter will work with Bambu's AMS Lite without having to print any adapters. I highly recommend to anyone needing to buy some quality filament at a quality price.

Prints very nicely when there isn't a spooling issue. I'm printing from a dryer at 0.12mm layer height. I also dropped the extrusion temperature to 210C to reduce gloss a bit. Scarfed seams add a touch of texture too. The results are excellent!The lightweight cardboard spool and some wavy filament caused a failure to feed and some air printing. Something to consider. My second roll was even more wavy than the first. I'm going to look for something else...

I used this filament for this skull. Printed for over 90 hours straight. Ran a temp tower, sliced and hit print. Very minor stringing but I didn’t run a retraction test. Very happy and would definitely use it again. Excellent bed adhesion and print quality.

While it's not my primary brand, I've used eSUN filament for several years. I try to mostly use ABS and PETG, but I turn to PLA when I need "special" colors (or colors that I don't typically use). That was the case when I selected eSUN Light Khaki Matte PLA Filament (1.75mm, 1Kg). I needed a bone-like color for a Jack Skellington lamp I was going to print. While eSUN also sells "C-Bone-White", I thought the matte would be closer to what I was looking for.The filament arrived well packed, properly wound, dry, and without any spool damage. The filament printed perfectly at OrcaSlicer presets for generic matte PLA. Printed quality is great, and the I think the result is sufficiently close to unbleached bone.There are two issues, and they're relatively minor. I love that eSUN uses cardboard spools, but it can be problematic if you're using an enclosed AMS or filament dryer to feed your spool to the printer. If you wipe the interior of the box clean between uses, you can probably keep contaminants out of your filament. The other thing is price. Assuming you have the 20% off coupon (available at the time of this review), the price is entirely competitive at $19. However, if you have to pay the full $23 list price, this eSUN filament looks less competitive against the myriad of PLA offered by other vendors.Assuming you get this with the discount, I highly recommend it!

Dopo aver provato il filamento eSUN PLA+ 1.75mm su diverse stampanti 3D, tra cui la Bambulab e la Anycubic, posso dire che si tratta di un filamento che mi ha sorpreso per la sua affidabilità e qualità complessiva.Pro: Resistenza migliorata: Ho trovato il PLA+ di eSUN particolarmente resistente, specialmente quando stampo oggetti che richiedono robustezza, come parti funzionali o prototipi. La resistenza agli urti è ottima, e si percepisce una maggiore durabilità rispetto ai PLA standard. Esperienza di stampa fluida: Sia sulla Bambulab che sulla Anycubic, questo filamento ha dimostrato un'ottima facilità d'uso. Le impostazioni di stampa (usati sia setup personalizzati che gli standard di BambuStudio/OrcaSlicer) sono semplici da gestire, e non ho mai riscontrato problemi di adesione al piano o warping, nemmeno con stampe di grandi dimensioni. Questo lo rende ideale anche per i principianti. Non ho avuto alcun problema di compatibilità con le mie stampanti.Contro: Problemi occasionali con l'AMS di Bambulab: L'unico vero difetto che ho riscontrato riguarda l'unità AMS (non lite) della Bambulab. A volte i rulli dell'AMS non riescono a far girare perfettamente la bobina del filamento eSUN PLA+, soprattutto durante le stampe multicolore. Questo non è un problema durante le stampe standard, ma potrebbe creare qualche grattacapo se si usa il sistema AMS per lavori complessi.
