RIVERWELD 2 pin Aviation Plug Socket Air Connector 16-2P Male and Female Metal Self Locking

I needed a socket/plug set to build a DIY Ibanez UE400 multi-effect footswitch replacement, but finding a suitable socket/plug was a challenge until I found this one. It really is built like a tank, looks great, the connection is super reliable and was easy to solder. I can 100% recommend it.

The Riverweld 2 pin aviation plug connector is a great power lead adapter to fit to almost anything that needs a screwed in, safe connection for 12 volt DC power (in my case).It is a great way to exchange a 5.2mm barrel connector that is a friction fit, and prone to loosen over time leading to intermittant power loss, to a guaranteed, solid power connection that you no longer have to worry about.I used these to replace my Astronomy power connector on my mount head to a screw connection from a push in barrel connector, and it has made a world of difference.

Brill. It wasn’t due until May 2nd (today is April 19th, and all the way from China?) not bad, looks pretty good too. I haven’t used it yet, but no complaints so far.

Just what I needed to extend the cables from my cnc router.

I was worried about soldering my thermocouple onto these and getting an reading….. I worried for nothing. My thermocouple reads .1 F higher than my infrared thermometer.
